It’s my wife’s favorite knife. Due to the weight. Her tasks for a knife are minimal and the blade shape is great for her tasks. The “tactical look” don’t intimidate her so it’s a win for all. Love the Benchmade assembly videos because they are by far the most difficult for me.

Only the new black Bugout has the carbon resin. The new Bailout with M4 has a milled aluminum handle. Not defending the price but it isn't that far off from other knives they sell with similar materials.
May I suggest You to a natural medicine for your cold? Drink a glass of good wisky (actually in Italy we drink straight Grappa), go to bed and make a good long sleep untill tomorrow, You will fill better.

Have you tried other lubes on your knives? I just started using BreakThrough gun lube. Works amazing on my otf!!!
The new one with the green aluminum scales and m4 blade is very tempting.
@David Martin Portmann not nearly as fragile with aluminium scales. Would actually be pretty strong with that upgrade.

Actually it makes wayyyyy better sense than 3v which is for strong fixed blades. M4 is not as strong but better edge retention .

Benchmade has really been going down hill. And for too much $.
The heat-treat is plain bad as well.
In other words, nothing to report here.
