- A few videos back I explained how much I liked and appreciated the Seamless Slide-Outs Tiffin used on their RVs. Once Thor Manufacturing purchased Tiffin, those slides were discontinued, but the manufacturer of the slide-outs enjoyed hearing how much I appreciated their product, they asked if I'd like to see something new they developed, to replace fabric roller, slide out topper/awnings. While they sent me a link describing the product, I couldn't really appreciate how revolutionary the design was until I saw it in person.
They invited me to stop by and see the presentation at the January FMCA rally in Indio. So needing a break from cross country driving almost non-stop, I checked in to see if the True Topper really is going to solve some of the most common slide out repairs and causes of slide failures: the slide out roller awning. Between torn facrics, broken hardware, wind noise, water leaks, and unpleasant appearance, slide out awnings seem to constantly need help and repair. So join me as we discover how the True Topper works.
