Pretty easy to know why that is...
They are afraid to judge him after what happened Johnny Depp. Also, without Miller there are almost no one from the old crew. For example, Avengers did great, but their story is over. These new 4 and 5 phases will probably turn to dust in the wind with the exception of a few decent movies. WB franchise, however, was a rollacoaster from the beginning with ups and downs throughout the franchise, besides their story is kind of not over. Maybe a total relaunch of the franchise is what the company needs nowadays or a careful casting/recasting of missing and existing characters who could fill the niche and provide a good, wholesome ,entertaining story.

It was so freaking simple. Adapt flashpoint faithfully and give us zoom, but they couldn’t even do that right.
Greed will never allow them to faithfully adapt a good comic because they want pg13 movies that cater to every single sensibility (the loud ones).
The animated version of Flashpoint is good but they rather produce a flopping turd instead of taking a risk.

I just watched it for the first time and after the first 20 minutes it’s actually a pretty good movie. It’s not true to the flashpoint story but think of it as one of the timelines Barry created
They kept Ezra Miller but fired Cavill and Gadot. Not only that but DC comics hasn’t done well in terms of comics sales and have only been banking on Batman. I don’t feel empathy for them.

I have no faith in WB/DC moving forward. Especially with Gunn saying that "Blue Beetle" is the first official DCU movie. They've already destroyed faith with the fans just from the idiotic "BATMAN'S A FASCIST" line they put in the trailer. DCU is doomed before it even starts.

Why is it so difficult to understand that they’re reimagining Superman and Wonder Woman? How on earth could they do that with the same two actors in the role? They didn’t “KEEP” Ezra, they simply released the film they had. This should be understandable by an infant.
They needed to fire Cavil because Superman desperately needs to not be a whiny narcissistic scumbag. But the whole universe needs a reboot and Ezra, in addition to his crimes, was the worst portrayal of the respective character (Flash) other than maybe Lex and should have been fired first and a long time ago.

Biden and Pence gave the documents back legally immediately upon discovery. They didn't lie and obfuscate the investigations. They didn't turn in legally certified affidavits saying a search had been made when it hadn't, and all documents were returned when they weren't.
Trump lied and dragged NARA around for over 2 years before they raided him, he did it to himself. If he had turned over the documents when originally requested, there would have been no legal implications for him.
Instead he lied and obstructed justice, and so he gets his just desserts. Don't take and lie about classified documents, even Pence knows better than that

I still need an explanation for NO Grant Gustin in this movie at all. You made a multiverse movie, you spent +/- $300 million dollars, and you couldn’t put him in a two second cameo? The guy who played the Flash since 2014 for you, and has a built in fanbase? How does that make ANY sense at all?
"I'm Batman" was written in the 1989 script as: "I am the night". "iIm Batman" was a Keaton adlib, it's his, he has every right to use it. I loved that moment.

one of my biggest critiques is the fact that despite the realization that some things cant be changed, and going back to unsave his mom, he again alters the past to save his dad in the present. meaning he learned absolutely nothing, and the whole message was pointless. he went back to correct a mistake, and made the exact same mistake while he was there

Chris Gore gushed all over the cameos, but the way he described them made me immediately think they were inconsequential and unrelated to the plot
I immediately thought of Chris Gore. His description of the cameos made me think it was a saving grace of this film. Now, with the recent reviews, I am almost wondering what film he watched.

Yeah, everybody knows this film blows, trouble is, a lot of your main reviewers are soft-balling it to avoid getting into trouble with Warners or the blue-hairs.
The best part of the movie is that despite the whole plot hinging on Barry's father being accused of killing his mother and Barry considering traveling back in time to prevent her death at no point he ever thinks of going back to the precise moment of her death to take a look at who the killer might be. This is why adapting Flashpoint without the Reverse Flash showing up was a stupid idea.

Biggest issues with the flash was that I was more interested in stand alone movies with the other characters such as Aflect’s Batman, Keaton’s Batman, and even supergirl; and had to settle for a movie created for the sole purpose of keeping Ezra miller off the streets and pre occupied so he doesn’t start grooming Barbie dolls.

I liked that supergirl was able to hold her own for a little but I’m really glad that zod was able to beat her over and over to show superman was superior

I actually agree with your review. The biggest disappointment to me is the absence of Reverse Flash or any other flash villain. The Flashpoint Paradox animated movie is the far superior movie. I dont think it’s a terrible movie and I still found it pretty entertaining, but it could be so much better. I’d imagine if this was released before No Way Home, people would rate it higher. 6/10 for me.

I agree with you. I'm still holding on to hope by a fingernail for the MCU, but I'm done with DCU. I've been watching The Flash reviews despite the spoilers. I just don't care about the DC product anymore and not excited to see this movie.
Michael Shannon's description of the multiverse movies is spot on! A bunch of kids playing with action figures in a place where nobody actually dies and everything is possible, I'm sick and tired of multiverses.

my main gripe with this was that if you can change Batman to Keaton, you can change the other Barry Allen to Grant Gustin.
I just want whoever it is to be a Batman that can realistically pull off the stunts without heavy green screen/CGI , and gets in shape similar to Ben.
I wish they would've kept Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill and finished the Snyder verse with a different actor as the flash.

9:03 I have huge cognitive dissonance when memorable lines from an original being snuck into a sequel as though a producer veto'd it. The context of the situation in which Keaton said it in 1989 was that he threatens the Joker in an exaggerated fashion, hoping he will shoot him in his makeshift chestplate. Now it's treated like a cool catchphrase? Even Die Hard's recurring "Yippee ki-yay, motherfucker" is annoying to me when they put it in the second movie because it started as a private thing between John and Hans. The third movie I could have overlooked since that concerned Hans' brother, and John could have recalled the line that way.
Anyways, it just seems cheap and commercial.
I just rented the stream last night. It's actually a pretty good movie. It's definitely much better then you gave it credit for.
The CGI can be bad at many times, but I simply don't expect perfection anymore, so I go with it.
As for all the behind the scenes stuff and of course Ezra Miller... I just don't give a crap.
If I ignored songs because of the Singer/Band and their IRL garbage, I wouldn't have much to listen too.

Super Girl looks way too butch. I almost struggled to tell the difference between her and Ezra Miller (especially when ezra had longer hair in the movie). I didnt c the movie but the clips showed me enough 😂
@@catspiracytheorist2138 I was surprised to find myself thinking that Sasha's Supergirl was one of the best aspects of the movie. I enjoyed her interpretation of the character and personally found her to be a very attractive and interesting Supergirl (I happen to be attracted to tomboy types, but I know that's not for everybody). I kind of hope they do more with her as Supergirl. I bought into it. She's a good actor who brought some weight to the character.
