When I was a first year medical student, all I saw in textbooks were pictures of aliens and a guy fiddling around with play-do on TH-cam trying to explain embryology. I thought I had to learn latin to learn embryology! Thus it makes me pretty happy that you would say this. I hope you destroy your exams.
I was looking for videos in spanish since i´m from Latin America, but i decided to try one in english and i reach yoyr videos, they help me understand this topic faster than 3 spanish videos, thanks for your hard work
does the thyroid come form the pharyngeal arch or pouch or cleft or where? if its an endodermal thickening of the floor of primitive pharynx cant we say this came from the pharyngeal pouch, textbooks say that it is independent form pharyngeal pouches or arches!!
Hey, I'm sorry about your daughter, hopefully she is otherwise healthy and doing well. I believe thyroid agenesis is due to mutations in the genes responsible for thyroid development but the cause of this I believe is unknown. Important thing is not to blame yourself, it wouldn't have been anything caused by yourself or your partner. I wish you guys all the best, and the best health for your daughter.
