Oh my gooodnesss!! haha This video is amazing! I just started med school and embryology seems daunting (especially because it is so confusing to look at words on a page and try to imagine it. This video is not only easy to understand but has me excited to learn more embryology and see why things are the way they are! Thank you @Minass!!!
Lord! That Nicki Minaj reference.... I laughed like crazy in Embryology Museum in my Med School and the demonstrator kicked me out 🤦🏻♂️😂 Anyways, thank you so much Doc! you made special embryology so easy for me.
Your videos are the best resource to learn embriology, i was trying to learn all of these by memorizing everything (worst idea ever) and not uderstanding. Next time my teachers asks me about the rotation of the stomach i'll start by saying "Do you know who is Nikki Minaj ? well..." True legend!
Thank you so, so much. I love your way of explaining things and the fact, that they really stay in my head. You are literally saving me from failing my embryo exam. You truly are a savior of med students!
This video was extremely helpful and easy to understand. Thank you so much!! I love how you would repeat info and recap things while explaining, its extremely helpful, especially for me as i am a slow learner. I look forward to watching more of your videos!
Thank you soooooo much! You explain it just in a way I needed to understand the embryology. I am really bad with orientation, so I get lost easily trying to understand the 2D pictures in all the embryology pictures. But you repeat the cutting of the embryo and help me get back on track to see how the 2D is shown, I mean, many people might think it is not necessary because they get it naturally (so that is why a lot of resources omit the explanation) but not for me... haha, I have to watch your video several times, not only that I forget the orientation quickly so I have to come back again and again.. Repetition works.. I am finally getting to a more solid understanding because you explain it from blastula in all embryology videos ( which is what I need)...
Yes exactly, thats what I struggled with when I had to learn this from a textbook that was written in half Latin. So I try to make it easier for you guys to understand 👍
Im about to answer my git exam tomorrow and your videos are helping me as always!🤣🤣 im sure my dr wont mind seeing me smile while im explaining the rotations of the stomach😂😂😂 thank you dr minass! I appreciate your time and effort for everything! Hope you’ll always have the spirit to teach us students😆
You are saving my exam!! Thank you! With the Covid, our lectures have been moved online and the embroyology department just kinda gave up, so I´m so happy to have found you. You explain really well!
Thank you so much for your effort and time! You are a great teacher who knows how to break down difficult concepts in a way everyone can easily understand and follow you step by step. That is how studying makes fun! Lots of love from Germany 💜
This is sooo freakin good, i was scared beauce of a verbal exam next week and the prof loves embry, but with this i feel so armed, i just need a whiteboard now :D
You are an amazing teacher my friend and very good at making these complex topics easy to understand! I wish every lecturer would understand why it's important to explain this way, they just dont care about explaining properly enough!
It's my pleasure William. Contact me for a high definition video summaries. It's usually for Patreons only but I love your comment so much I want to give it to you for free
Sir, thank you for making videos about embryology please keep doing it. I have confused about somewhere in this video. I thought that superior part of duodenum is intraperitoneal but you said that it's retroperitoneal in this video.(15:10) just wanted to emphasize it thanks again!
I just want to say thank you very much as i think that is an amazing video! thank you for all the effort and hard work you put into this and you explained it so so clearly, also very helpful you tell us what angle the pictures are looking from. but thank you so much and all the best
I have been following your lectures, I must say I learned a lot. You make complex things very easy to digest. At 12.22 you did say umbilical artery forming round ligament, I think you meant umbilical vein, right?
Sir, would you pls zoom in more on the drawing instead of keeping the camera fixed in a place, seeing clearly, understanding and redrawing these your drawings will help better. Thanks
I really appreciate these resources! I had one question - it seems like you indicate the transverse sections are viewed from a cranial perspective, but aren’t they (as is usual) from inferior looking toward superior?
@@minass I think the cranial perspective may be a more intuitive viewpoint to a lot of people - it is to me at least - I can picture myself viewing from above easier than below! But since for whatever historical reason sections are displayed the other way, I guess we have to learn to work with it...

i really love that
you start everything from blastula and stuff
Haha thanks
2 yrs later & this video is still serving it's purpose. Thank you for making me understand this Dr. Minass 💯
this is the first time I've understood these scary embryological figures and what they're trying to say in one go. Thankyou so much.

You know you're doing a fantastic job when my anatomy professor recommended us to watch your video. Thanks for the great explanation!

I really appreciate these resources! I had one question - it seems like you indicate the transverse sections are viewed from a cranial perspective, but aren’t they (as is usual) from inferior looking toward superior?
I like to go against convention. But, yes you're right 😅
