I highly recommend you watch the first Lords of Shadow before this one. Both have great storylines, and are really fun to watch! Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Game Movie (All Cutscenes) 1080p HD
Robert Carlyle is amazing as the voice of Dracula i love that line near the end "Even Satan Himself is too afraid to leave the pits of Hell and fight me" so many other badass moments from Dracula in this game loved it.
This was a amazing! Games like these are a dying breed. Never have I ever seeing such a respect and fidelity for the vampire genre, this alone could had being a movie, and it should be to reach a wider audience past gamers. No where you would see a movie to carry on so many interesting characters plots, and visuals. I think its time to go past nick picky gamers, who are unaware of how hard is to pull something like this off and give it to an newer audience who have never seeing stuff like this before. Just bought the art book to and I never expected so much good work in one book. Really worth getting it, I hope they continue with Lords of the Shadow 3 or just make a movie Konami and Mercury Steam and I'm there!
I'd have laughed if, impatiently, Marie said "Are you done?" at the end of Gabe's ranting about being a thorn in Gods side...despite it being totally out of character.
I sincerely hope that the "what is a man" speech and the "enough talk, have at you" line become Castlevania's version of the Legend of Zelda's "it's a secret to everyone"
Harou Mensah exactly, I know they're from a previous game, but they became so popular the writers kept putting them in as a joke. So I really hope they continue to do that.
Grim Reaper is such a badass when it comes to fashion body forms. He always knows how to literally look like a boss at all times. He's my all time favorite entity.
This game has a lot of great voice actors from UK including Sir Robert Carlyle Natascha McElhone Sir Patrick Stewart Richard Madden Jason Isaacs Anthony Howell
While I enjoyed this game's gameplay better than the first one, I think overall I liked the first one better. I just really enjoyed the ancient setting of the first game. Can't say I dig the "dracula in modern times" that they tried here. The ending was also a bit weak. What's Drac gonna do now? Open a hotdog stand outside the church?
I enjoyed the game, though I may not play it again for a while, I got my fill. Gabriel was a good Dracula and an accurate depiction of a tragic figure. Under all of that power and hatred he deeply regret the things he had done. I'm glad he and Alucard made up in the end, that's all Gabriel ever wanted after all.
i really like that they included the castle having it's own "soul" and plane of existence that would really work with this timeline's version of aria of sorrow. Did they have to kill off the Belmont lineage though? i guess they would work in the offshoot clans (Renard, Morris, Lecarde, Belnades, Schnieder)
Awesome game especially playing as dracula..makes Dracula look good.original I thought, They should make a lords of Shadow 3....or a castlevania series/movie along the lords of Shadow 1&2 story 💪😎
the "You shall not pass" irony is soo FUNNY. that monster looked like the one from Lord of the rings, then he's using the same line as the wizard lmfao
I love the beginning when Dracula wakes up. He can barely walk when that white monster shows up and he's just like "Fucking bring it!". Also, Satan, mate, I admire your hard work in turning your life around to become a horrible person that is also stacked, but you skipped leg day so hard they are now necrotic. Priorities, man.
+Hienh Saiyasith It's definitely worth playing man, great storyline and combat definitely make this worth a buy. Rented it off Gamefly and enjoyed the hell out of it.
3:05:32 God I feel the goddamn venom through Gabriel’s Voice when he mentioned sacrificing EVERYTHING to beat Satan the second time. The first time costed more than it was worth- manipulated to killing innocents, involving his wife, an innocent girl, his own son, and even his own humanity (not in any order)!
Anyone notice in the first ~10 mins of cutscenes that the Church in Lords of Shadow, despite this game being set several centuries before the modern age, is farther in it's technological innovation than the Church in real life? They have a huge mech!
The original castlevania on the nes back in the 80s was way better than this garbage. The original nes games were more violent, more bloody, more dark and sinister, more deranged and more like a horror movie. This game is just absolute crap.
This was okay. I really liked the "epic" aspect of this game, some of the music, the concept and the awesome fighting in this game. I still like metroidvania way more than this. This is a great way to attract the newer generation into the whole Castlevania storyline. There are so many amazing ost's, characters, stories, let alone the incredible art of Ayami Kojima, and just so much to Castlevania worth getting into. It will leave you awed. You guys can download emulators and play as many as them as you want. My personal favorites are: Dawn of Sorrow, Aria of Sorrow, Symphony of the Night, Curse of Darkness, Harmony of Dissonance, and Lament of Innocence. The other ones are fantastic as well.
Yea, he does only with Patrick Stewart's voice. :) I hope they start rolling the price of this game back soon, it's fun but $60 bucks for anything less than a gold pack or an Ultimate Edition's unreasonable.
Incredible job guys! thanks you for doing this! well done! here a subcriber! For other hand, my opinion is that the story is really good until grabriel rememeber everything. The final imo is a rush... no sence at all but anyway, i really enjoy that 3:24:13! spend all my afternoon here haha again, great job guys!
i cant take this game serious at all jus because patrick stewart is a voice over...every time he says something i jus think of american dad...fucking hysterical
This looks rather remarkable! I only wish he had a more physical abilities of a vampire nature. Like Super Jump and Flight... Free-handed climbing seems so human is sensibility
that's what I mean, I mean really.. I get game concepts don't wanna be too easy or too relaxed, but.... this is "Dracula"... And when ya think Dracula, you think utter supernatural badass w/ limitless powers and supernatural abilities. I always think to myself how cool it be to have a unique attributed vampire game. But there are so few of them that really charm the mark of a good quality one, this is one of them few. I hope in future, they do one for next gen... and with a vast array of abilities, moves, powers, skills, and magic you can harness and exploit. And as far as the climbing bit, yeah if I want free-climbing... I'll play Assassin's Creed, Uncharted, Tomb Raider, inFAMOUS, and Prototype.
That wouldn't be too far out of question. Say - can't access some areas cus they have spells cast, or say their are day-night cycles, so some of your powers aren't useful... it varies. That would work.
The toy maker part felt like the only part they really took the time to develop. It was so well told and built. I only wish a 3rd game could be made with the amount of time and detail they took to make the first one.
The ending is kinda lame. I've never played the classics but from what people tell me I always thought alucard despises Dracula and would sooner kill him than working with him. Am I wrong here? I'm gonna start playing the classics
The original vampire was Walter Bernhard who was killed by Leon Belmont. The original Dracula who became a vampire after he took Walter's soul, was Mathias, friend of Leon.
LOS is a separate universe. In the old manual of LOS1 its beleived gabriel is an illegitimate child of the cronqvist family who was given to the brotherhood. Gabriel took the surname Belmont for his love of the mountains. Eventually after the events of LOS1 happened he returned to laura to stop a powerful demon called "The Forgotten one" the only way to beat it was to enter its domain but only creatures of darkness can survive the realm so gabriel drank lauras vampire blood and thats how he became a vampire. He defeats the forgotten one and takes its power as his own and He forsook his name calling himself Dracul and destroyed the original vampire killer cross he wielded.
Why do I love this game? Because it has a really good story, and it came out of my birthday. I don't care what anyone says about why I love this game. It's super interesting. It's a really good game so that's why I love it. It's my favorite game of all.
you know, the funniest thing I did in this game was when I would try to get past the golgoth guards, I would stall and just use the bat swarm on them all the time and watch speak that funny language and mess around. good times.
First off, great video! I just came across this channel and have immediately subscribed. With respect to the game itself: as a fan of the first, critically-lauded game, I was shocked to see the low to mediocre reviews this game received. I watched a bit of the movie as a sort of "demo" and am very intrigued by what appears to be a high quality game. Any take as to why this was received so poorly by the gaming press?
I think that the critics have a hard time judging the game on it's own merits. Firstly, any new Castlevania game will always fall under the shadow of previous classics in the series. Secondly, it has been criticized for being a God of War clone (as was the first Lords of Shadow). Is it a God of War clone? Yes. Is it as good as God of War? No. But of course that is not to say it is bad. We had a lot of fun playing this game. Graphics were great especially for last gen standards. Story is intriguing, although it's better in the first half in my opinion. Combat is fun and fairly deep. Camera is WAY better than Lords of Shadow 1 since you can move it freely now. Another reason I think that the game might get low reviews is because reviewers play the game almost continuously until they beat it. We have the same experience since we try to beat the game as fast as possible so we can edit and post the "game movie." If you're going to play for 8 hours straight, then it can be a very repetitive game. If you plan on playing for 2 to 3 hour sessions, I think you'll find a good mix of combat, stealth and puzzles. Personally I would give the game an 8.5, maybe even higher if I got to play it at a slower pace to truly enjoy everything the game has to offer. Hope this helps, and thanks for subscribing!
So Draculas goal the entire game was to end his own eternal life then at the end of the game he finally obtains the one weapon that can do it and... doesn't commit suicide???? Also Zobek attempts to kill Dracula which was what he wanted in the first place and Dracula at any moment could of said "Hey we actually want to destroy Satan not just stop him from coming want to tag along?" Also I thought Zobek was like a paladin of some sort why does he turn into some undead boss at the end. I haven't really played the old games so I'm not 100% sure what is going on but this plot starting to make no sense fast towards the end.
He doesn't suicide because he now has his son, he plans on doing something related to 'There's always a dark power, even if you take me down'. Zobek wanted the weakened Dracula to tag along against Satan, so he could dominate over the other two (Dracula and Satan), but he wanted to dispose of him the moment Satan went down. Zobek was a Paladin in his previous life, before he ascended to the heavens, but he was already a Lord of Shadow in the first game.
Zobak is the lord of shadow of death, from the previous game. He wants Dracula and Satan out of the way so he can rule the earth. Once a paladin he found a place where gods power was the strongest. Then he acended to the heaven leaving all the evil whitin him on earth, thus leaving the husk to become a lord of shadow the lord of death
LadyUsako B well,i think that Sephiroth gave Masamune to Alucard for a little time.even i imagine the dialogue between them Sephiroth: "OK,I"ll give you my katana, but I warn you - if you broke it,I'll infect you with The Geostigma" Alucard: "What The Hell is Geostigma????" Sephiroth: "It's better if you don't know."
Would be really awesome if the next Castlevania LOS game be based off the three founders of the brotherhood of light Carmilla, Zobek and that other guy.All three as playable characters, also during their time as the lords of shadow.
Check out the first Lords of Shadow here! Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Game Movie (All Cutscenes) 1080p HD

+Gamer's Little Playground i like graphic issue in shadow 2 story is too much great
Imagine Alucard from TFS Hellsing Ultimate Abridged busting through the door and saying "I heard someone in here needed a hug!"
Robert Carlyle is amazing as the voice of Dracula i love that line near the end "Even Satan Himself is too afraid to leave the pits of Hell and fight me" so many other badass moments from Dracula in this game loved it.
💯💯💯 🙌🙌🙌
I agree, he's a tremendous voice actor and back in 1999 he appointed an OBE ((Order of the British Empire)) that means they call him "Sir"
5:10 "What is a man But a Miserable pile of secrets" is one of my favorite lines from symphony of the night
Am I the only one who can't get over how the last thing Satan might have seen was a sign for a pizza place?
silverstarinthesky the last thing he saw was Dracula straight in his eyes
He's such a good father...
I really liked his scenes with the boy.
I really wanted to watch Dracula play with the little dolls. That would have just been so great.
Or at least hug Trevor while he can.
It’s a game😐😐😐😐😐
@@bootiedudeyeah, so ?
"Come son, the sun is rising..." *fought Satan in the full sun in the sky with Alucard few minutes ago*
that fight might have been 1 whole day😂
Richard Madden was so damn good as Alucard. Would love to see more with him as Alucard.
Well seeing as how the Revelations DLC was just announced today...

Thanks for telling me:)

When I first heard Camilla's voice I only thought of one thing.
"Snake : Boss? Why'd you defect?"
Ummm? Not the same voice actress.
Everyone: How the hell did you do that?
Dracula: Fuck you, that's how.
This was definitely the best story for Castlevania they have made so far, besides Symphony of the Night back in the day. I enjoyed playing these.
Anyone who talks to Dracula: "We thought you were dead"
Me: "FOR FACK SAKES HE'S IMMORTAL YOU PEOPLE DON'T GET THIS?"
The other me: *facepalm*
"What is a man, but a miserable pile of secrets" best line 😜
his most infamous one throughout the franchise
I'd have laughed if, impatiently, Marie said "Are you done?" at the end of Gabe's ranting about being a thorn in Gods side...despite it being totally out of character.
I thought she was going to slap the shit out of him... I know I would of after that...
I sincerely hope that the "what is a man" speech and the "enough talk, have at you" line become Castlevania's version of the Legend of Zelda's "it's a secret to everyone"
The what is a man part is from a previous game but the other one i dont know
Harou Mensah exactly, I know they're from a previous game, but they became so popular the writers kept putting them in as a joke. So I really hope they continue to do that.
Very good game! I was surprised and satisfied with this sequel. The ending could have been better but I still give it an 8 out of 10
Awesome Plot, had to see all the way till the end to reveal the whole story behind the mysterious return of all those dead characters... Brilliant!!!
You deserve more creds for your work man ;)
Grim Reaper is such a badass when it comes to fashion body forms.
He always knows how to literally look like a boss at all times.
He's my all time favorite entity.
I prefer the classic Death from Castlevania since he was literally Death itself serving Dracula
This game has a lot of great voice actors from UK including
Sir Robert Carlyle
Natascha McElhone
Sir Patrick Stewart
Richard Madden
Jason Isaacs
Anthony Howell

thanks a lot for this movie, guys!
The puzzle with Agreus was the toughest I thought
I love the many nods to Symphony of The Night.
They acknowledged that Crissaegrim is just too strong not to be included somehow.
i really like that they included the castle having it's own "soul" and plane of existence that would really work with this timeline's version of aria of sorrow. Did they have to kill off the Belmont lineage though? i guess they would work in the offshoot clans (Renard, Morris, Lecarde, Belnades, Schnieder)
best cutscene in the game for me is at 1:36:00. the passion and anger from The Dragon, Dracul!!
Anyone else just here for Robert Carlyle?
er... me ! ✋
I'm not the only one !
+Retrorue Yes ! Sir Carlyle is excellent ☺
RainRiddle I only found out he played Gabriel when I started playing it XD

Is this the final Castlevania? Freak man!! I want another sequel of this one
Come here after the s4 finale, we need more castlevania!
The more I watched this game, the more I am interested in playing it.!Nice graphics!
+Hienh Saiyasith It's definitely worth playing man, great storyline and combat definitely make this worth a buy. Rented it off Gamefly and enjoyed the hell out of it.
I can not believe Gabriel loves his son so much and does everything his son said.
who's watching this 2017?. 1 of the best game and storyline, I presume!.
I always thought these games were so gorgeous. ♥
🙏Good Work Castlevania Lords Of Shadow 2!🙏
Thanks abridging the whole thing. I would love to play it but have no time. So this will do for the moment :D
I loved all the lord's of shadow games. The voice acting/actors, graphics, gameplay and story were all top notch. ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏
Nice job man, i really enjoyed the movie hehe :)

one of those game that is more fun to watch than play
Beautiful Soundtrack.
The Castlevania Lords of Shadow saga are my favorite Castlevania games
very cool, i was hoping you would do this game as well as thief, i'm sure i'll enjoy both of them.
"there is no armor against fate"....clearly mr Dracula has never heard of plot armor, best armor around
May there be more Castlevania games for the next-gen consoles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh my gosh this game is awesome
3:05:32 God I feel the goddamn venom through Gabriel’s Voice when he mentioned sacrificing EVERYTHING to beat Satan the second time.
The first time costed more than it was worth- manipulated to killing innocents, involving his wife, an innocent girl, his own son, and even his own humanity (not in any order)!
Thanks for this! Had a great time
Who is stil here al the memories
I feel bad for Gabriel.....I love the game so much and hope they can continue for more castlevania games.
That didn't age well
1:44:34 OH Shoot She Has the Hamsterball-Thing from Kid Icarus Uprising!
this's no game, this's a piece of art.
More like a piece of shit.
i am just 35 min in, and i love the story twists
Great cinematography scripting! This is a masterpiece!
Anyone notice in the first ~10 mins of cutscenes that the Church in Lords of Shadow, despite this game being set several centuries before the modern age, is farther in it's technological innovation than the Church in real life? They have a huge mech!
Still one of my favorite goddamn vampire games ever
Who else agrees
The original castlevania on the nes back in the 80s was way better than this garbage. The original nes games were more violent, more bloody, more dark and sinister, more deranged and more like a horror movie. This game is just absolute crap.
Great game and wonderful story, I hated the ending though -.-. Thanks for this video :)
I sympathize heavily with Dracul. To have been forced into that family blood feud, and pushed to darkness.
Kratos to Dracula: Finally, a worthy opponent, our battle will be legendary!
Zobek reminds me of Sean Connery. Appearance wise anyway.
Poor Dracula sacrificed so much just for the world to hate him
This looks rather remarkable!
I only wish he had a more physical abilities of a vampire nature.
Like Super Jump and Flight...
Free-handed climbing seems so human is sensibility
It would be be too easy
Shawn11986 i agree brother….stop toning down the characters and UNLEASH THEM
that's what I mean, I mean really..
65firered so could we make things more challenging ….could we start with vampire abilities and make it harder from there?
That wouldn't be too far out of question.
Say - can't access some areas cus they have spells cast, or say their are day-night cycles, so some of your powers aren't useful... it varies. That would work.
Watching this with my own music on the side to hear..hoping to be a nice day today
The toy maker part felt like the only part they really took the time to develop. It was so well told and built. I only wish a 3rd game could be made with the amount of time and detail they took to make the first one.
this is an interesting parallel universe. i really like it :)
The ending is kinda lame. I've never played the classics but from what people tell me I always thought alucard despises Dracula and would sooner kill him than working with him. Am I wrong here? I'm gonna start playing the classics
And now he's a Daddy's boy with a baaaaad "papa" complex
yea.simon would've finished him for sure
i dont think the ending is shit i bleeve it promises lords of shadows 3
maybe on handheld
cesarBS190
myebe on handheld to but i think on pc and consoles to
Just bought the game today and I can't wait to play it when I get home tonight!!!!!!!!!!! It's gonna be excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd just like to say that the makers of this game are brilliant......brilliant!
Thanks for sharing!
So is Gabriel supposed to be the original dracula in this game?
The original vampire was Walter Bernhard who was killed by Leon Belmont. The original Dracula who became a vampire after he took Walter's soul, was Mathias, friend of Leon.

You watch this epic tribute to Dracul: th-cam.com/video/s9BVT8a6Dyc/w-d-xo.html
Father and son got 600 years of catching up to do after the game. :p
Why do I always feel like whenever I hear Gabriel's voice I think he will say 'Rumpelstiltskin' at your service.
Why do I love this game? Because it has a really good story, and it came out of my birthday. I don't care what anyone says about why I love this game. It's super interesting. It's a really good game so that's why I love it.
It's my favorite game of all.
The opening fight in the castle was epic
its funny how those guards are stronger than satan
Because Gabriel was still weak during that time before regaining his powers when facing Lucifer, he already have them
When I play Lords Of Shadow 2, I like to just sit on the main menu, and pretend that Dracula has a really hard time reading.
Lol 😆
you know, the funniest thing I did in this game was when I would try to get past the golgoth guards, I would stall and just use the bat swarm on them all the time and watch speak that funny language and mess around. good times.

Alucard looks so badass.
So Draculas goal the entire game was to end his own eternal life then at the end of the game he finally obtains the one weapon that can do it and... doesn't commit suicide???? Because Gabe wanted to kill Zobek too.
Dracula is Gabriel from the first one. After he killed all the lords of shadow he become the lord of shadows becoming Dracula :-)
I see Satan used a gym since the 1st LoS.

Someone ask for the One Wing Angel? That is one long sword. lol
lmao thats what i thought xD
LadyUsako B well,i think that Sephiroth gave Masamune to Alucard for a little time.even i imagine the dialogue between them

I've been a fan of the franchise since the first Nintendo Castlevania is a household name in the gaming world it only gets better from here
Would be really awesome if the next Castlevania LOS game be based off the three founders of the brotherhood of light Carmilla, Zobek and that other guy.All three as playable characters, also during their time as the lords of shadow.
still get choked up with that shoulder bit.
