Those things you called "blacked out" are the sensors (unless they are just made to look like it), so you can plug them in, turn on the system and use them.
I've got the same ones and the blacked out area is not a working sensor. There are instructions with the unit to pull the sensor from the stock taillight and install it to the new one.
Now, I happen to have a Tazer to change my settings from Halogen to LED. However, did you do that or leave it set up as stock. Mine happened to come with LED Taillights.
Installed the same lights on mine after watching your install video on your Sport. I love them. The backup lights aren't much use for seeing where you're going so also installed Orion reverse lights that replace the reflectors in the bumper which work great.
I have the same taillights on my Willys. After about 6 months I started getting an error code on the dash saying the rear turn signal light was working. A simple resistor added to each side cured the problem. You may want to check out the Winjet renegade headlights and fender lights also. The complete set looks awesome!
Yo....Rob....Interested in selling the original lights ? I recently backed into a friend's mailbox and cracked my passengerr side tail light. I only need one side but I'm guessing you wouldn't split the set assuming you would see them ?
They Look good
Rob, can you put led brake lights on the Gladiator that has halogen headlights?
I added them to mine👍
Have the same tail lights. 🤙🏽
Nice👍

They look really good on the truck. So if fogging isn’t moisture coming in does that mean they come pre-moisturized?
Lol! Nope….they’re just smoked (filled with smoke!). Get it😂
Oh filled with smoke that makes sense I was trying to figure out where to get paper beige enough to roll them so they could be smoked. Ba-Da-Rum-Bump
Argh😑
Who makes these lights ??
Gotta watch the video🤔

I just put 'em in 👍

Awesome 👍
What is your opinion on flush mounted taillight For the gladiator?
I don’t care for it. Just doesn’t look good IMO🤔

Thanks for the tip👍
Those are HOT!
Smokin’!!
Look great. Were the ones you replaced halogen? If so, did you get any error codes?
They were. No errors👍

Price would be $250 for the set plus shipping (US only).
@@robmotiveplus I'll think on that... Likely go for LEDs versus buying stock for that price.
👍🏻
Looks very cool, Rob! I gotta say I really like that Snazzberry color, looks great on the Mojave!
Looks even better when it's actually clean!😬
Looks great!
Thanks👍
Love mine. Looks cool and super bright!
Guess Im too old original looks better & yes I like to mod my jeeps.
Personal preference I suppose.
@@robmotiveplus Absolutely. Looking for a smaller set. Stocks way too big.
If there is water in them, it is definitely leakage! Or they are broken...lol
Those look awesome!
Thanks👍
Those look pretty darn slick, Rob. I might have to get a set of those for Jolly Green! 🤠
They’d look good on there👍
