    You should definitely do more rental properties. I'm actually in the process of going from renting to buying, but it's refreshing to see places to rent instead of homes for sale. Although a lot of the rent rates in LA cost just as much as the monthly mortgage. But no matter what I'd love to see more!

    Wow, if that’s $4750/month spread over four roommates, that’s actually only $1187.50/month/roomate, which doesn’t sound that bad at all for LA, especially for a place like that!

    I want to thank you for this tour of this very nice rental apartment. i agree with you and your cameraman about the vast space in the living room and kitchen area. That is very nice to place a nice dinner table close to the kitchen side but leading to the living room that can have a great large sofa, several nice chairs and cute tables place is very elegant. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms before the Master Bedroom Suite are very nice. The Master Bedroom is very roomy. I can see a king size bed along with a table and chairs as well as a office desk and chair there as well. The Master Bathroom is really nice.. Yes, like you, I the black hooks attached to either walls or doors. That is nice. Overall, the attached balconies to the apartments and the roof top party area are very nice. Finally, thank you for showing the garage downstairs underneath the building. Again thank you for showing this very nice rental apartment building. For me it would be only one roommate there to share an apartment with me. Well, continued success..

    It is good to switch up your offering once in a while and these apartments are luxurious and very spacious. I thought the kitchen was lovely and that there was plenty of storage which is something that can be lacking in apartments. It is great that the apartment block has a large lift which will help when it comes to bringing furniture in. Under $5K a month is more than reasonable for an apartment of that size and with covered parking.

    Interesting, starting with the good, waterfall of the kitchen island and the shower doors are pretty good but then we are all out of good and that's not good. Starting with the moderate, I would have full height windows/doors/minimal balcony in the bedrooms, glass needs to be much bigger to claim any sense of luxury, instead the entire apartment is styled like 90s typical LA apartment and a 30 year style handicap is not a good starting point. If at all possible I would make the sliding doors oversize in height, again akin to luxury. The floor tile is uneven, oddly colored and the grout is again 1990s. The kitchen is retro/farmhouse, again handicapping style wise. Stowe too. The small tile in the bathrooms is a missed opportunity as well. Old style toilets with exposed plumbing. Throughout I get the sense that they felt they could just produce new versions of 1990s style LA apartments. And the exposed bulbs in the bathroom at 8:50 is just disheartening. How could they when there are good inexpensive solutions. You have 6 stacked units so make use of what window light opportunities they have and they just don't.

    • @DanFrederiksen
      @DanFrederiksen 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      And I hadn't seen the roof deck, I'm curious how they figured that would be good design. It more resembles a prison yard than the inviting roof top terrace it could be. That was a free opportunity for indoor/outdoor feel that could have sold the units but instead they went with that. Good design choices cost so little and makes all the difference. Designers should really watch all the good design in videos on youtube and aspire. Use the clever elements within the square footage. A gorgeous tile might not evne cost more. Even if a taller door costs slightly more it is nothing compared to the building cost. A contrast color, choice of modern over farm, door with grooves and hidden hinges. And so on.

    Seems rather underwhelming, if you didn't say so I wouldn't think this was brand new. The rooftop deck looks like it has some vents and AC units in the middle of it, not really ideal. The price if you split it with some roommates is not too bad I guess. 6 units at 4750 each doesn't seem like a whole lot of money for the landlord either as an investment property.

    • @abc123fhdi
      @abc123fhdi 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@christopher2370 that's cool, I've done some crypto but it's too volatile for me. Been buying and holding stock in apple and tesla and made 400% return in 5 years. In another year or two I could buy an investment property all cash for extra income and also payoff my house and retire early :)

    This is very affordable. Roommates of course, everyone pays 1,200. I paid 1,500 for a 5 fl walk-up in Harlem. Never again. The space compared to NYC is unbeatable. It's the space for me.
