Just joined 3 days ago (after a 20 year break). Starting the grind for my codex. Making that much gold as a new player is really daunting. Just made a miner char to sell ingots, no way I'll make that kind of money farming mobs solo. Thanks for the vids, keep em coming!
Just remember to grind smart, unless you have aspects and codexes already to be honest don't buy a super sweet weapon someone's probably gonna pk off you multiple times. 300k in a day on almost any combat template is achievable, just stick to small non greedy runs and you'll come out ahead. 3k in the bank is better than losing your whole suit and a 10k sack to a dude named Spliturcheeks
Also make sure you use plain or gm/ mastercrafted plain mats gear like I said will save you lotta coins because you will get slapped here regardless but it's not too hard and tbh mining is fast, but selling iron isn't unless you're bargain basement pricing these days
Also if u wanna be a living tank and basically able to self fund yourself whenever, here's a fun build to farm on: 100 mining, 100 macing, 100 blacksmithing, 100 tactics, 80 healing, 80 arms lore, 80 tracking 80 parrying. Anatomy barely affects bandaids here, blacksmith armor bonus on plate with 80 parry means you can set up a loop bandage self macro, click a monster and go take a poo or catch up on a TV show even if you're using a 2 hander weapon and you'll be able to farm a huge loot sack. Make a disarm the shield, chug heal potion then re arm macro for when you use shield. You will literally deflect two vs 1 ganks with any other dexxer template on the field, and can definitely run with trap pouches from a mage and live through any combos of bow attack/melee attack rather easily. With STR potion buff you'll always have over 100 HP even when cursed and you can take a shotgun blast to the chest with no aspect. It's fun 😊 Edit part: Also forgot to mention, you still get to be a miner and a smither with disarm hamstring bandaids and potions. You won't just lose that llama today brother 🤣 they'll run if you stay on em most are mana dump glass cannon mages who tweak out at the first Warhammer 40 swing on their screen
Hey man, I have a question for you if you have time to answer! I used to play a lot of UO back in the late 90s and mid early 2000s. Around the end of that period Ethereal mounts came out. So you could play a stealth character, that could mount their ethereal mount while hidden. I thought this made stealth assassins fun, as when you came out of stealth you could keep up w/ mounted players, and everyone was mounted. I want to play outlands, and play a sneaky assassin, but I'm worried that w/o the ethereal mounts the play style won't work because I'll just pop out of stealth, and they'll run away from me at 2x my speed. Just curious to hear your thoughts on what it's like in Outlands, and if stealth characters are able to find any success there.
@@GiovanniGomesSaraiva you don't have to be rich to have a token. Just grind your society quests and you'll eventually have one. Maybe not a skeletal horse mount but you know... a token.
A lot of private servers on games have an issue with peoples private information being compromised. Is this an issue on Outlands? will the server shut down and people sell your info like many other games with private servers? thanks :)
I've been playing private servers on UO since they were a thing. Luckily that hasnt happened to me yet in 20 years... I think that can happen anytime you give information to anyone. I think also if this were "an issue on outlands" they wouldn't be continuing to grow like they are.

All dungeons are mountless.
For the wilderness, rich thievs have mount tokens, they steal from you and double click the token to mount.
