I'm partial to them and think that they can be a could source of income for a newbie if they don't like the dungeon play style. Boards and ingots can sell well on the Outlands discord channel if you undercut everyone just to make some quick cash, and the higher your raise the skills the more resources you get for your time spent. There are some PK precautions to take like tracking, heal pot and trapped pouches hot keys to help you escape. Cheers!

Started Outlands 20 days ago and your content as some others is what made me wanna join. Interesting tips even if I already knew some. I second the idea on maybe having some guild interview, but not just the big ones, the more the merrier (especially the not so "elite" ones for casual and new players, and also those for non US players ;-) )

I'd like to see more about Codexes. I have a Macer and Archer, but it would be nice to see gameplay or tips for each weapon skill, kinda like you did for the aspects.

Nice tips! So the first goal to achive for a newbie is 60k+ for rune book and blessing did for it! Could you also make a video about nowadays housing? I heard that there is no space for new houses (not sure about boat-houses). But should newbies look for buying a house, or forget about it until they have a tons of money to buy existing house? And how can you recognize a space to place your house? Looks like there is alot of space, but guys in diacord says that there is no space. (Sorry for such a stupid way to explain the question, kinda hard for russian guy to type english :D)
You can still find spots for Caravans, just takes a long time. Heres a tip: Run around w a house placement tool - act like your placing a castle. run the wilderness and attempt to place a castle in spots that look like a wagon may fit. You will see lots of green and then try to fit the wagon. :) If you find a spot congrats :)

If you are a crafter be aware that you are limited to 10 society jobs per account, not character. Make sure you spread your crafters out amongst your 3 accounts. Also pair them up based on the society jobs. Example: tinker and carpenter share a society npc and should be on the same account. Pwnstar I would like to see a vid based of progressive spawns. I didnt even know these existed outside of corrupted shrines. Or maybe I'm reading in to it wrong?
I would definitely get the mastery chain last, way after aspect. Chain alone will set you back 150k+ and it takes a long time to unlock even the first link. And a good bronze link will set you back 400k+. All that for a very small bonus. You can unlock some aspects for way cheaper and get big benefits right away. Codex first ofc.
You should do a video on general price ranges people should expect to pay at vendors so.they don't get ripped off by overpriced goods because they didn't know most 9ther vendors sell cheaper

As a literal new player to Ultima Online itself, is playing on this server OK? Is it too modified in a way that it expects a new player to be a seasoned UO player? Just about every day I run into a player who is or was same boat as you. Cmon over to Outlands my friend. You'll be welcomed and the community will be more helpful than any community you can find
Different games basically at this point. Www.uo.com is the retail version. The game has been sold a few times and now broadsword currently runs it. If you played years and years ago your characters may still be active here. However the only largely active shards are Atlantic and Sonoma. The map is vast though so finding other players outside of town is not super common. Www.uooutlands.com is the largest free to play custom server. The map is custom and smaller with about 2300 online at any given time (and growing). It uses the same "game engine" as ultima... but it has its own client and outside of the very basic gameplay its very different. Its very busy and popular and the main drawback given by players is how crowded dungeons can be due to the population always increasing. They are always adding more dungeons and updates VERY often though.
We have quiet a few people who stick to that role in our boss runs etc. But this game isn't the holy trinity role game (tank/dps/heal) that your thinking of like in wow/eq etc. Def ways to be more of a support role though

#1 thing you should know: UO Outlands is not the official game, it is simply a free shard running their own code that has nothing to do with the real game.
Unfortunately, ultima online has been dead for many years. And the pvp in that game is so poor, and those who do pvp are usually the ones who are not normal in real life, they are really the ones who no one bothers in real life, and who really turn on to run around and kill others

It definitely is. However you can start building experience on the chain for low cost.

The world atlas really helped me get into the game. Gm camping made recalling unnecessary.
camping is excellent. def a big help for farming builds!
what certain links cost...and an estimate of how long u would beed to farm with it for it to just pay for itself

I'd have to know which person your talking about. But there are options to change in the options. Or sometimes people edit the .mul files
