Couple big notes; Carry a blessed runebook; -Set a macro or script that will allow you to recall away when you see a red on tracking (If choosing not to fight) -Always carry heal/cure/refresh/one strength pot if you are going to be fighting a pk; pop that strength pot immedietly when you are engaging in pvp. -Carry a rope! use it when they are trying to run away! -Carry trapped pouches to avoid being paralyzed! -Don't bother with packhorses; when you get to a specified amount of weight... just recall back home or to your bank and put your ore up. No need to carry a Packhorse full of ore on you. Too risky!
It's so incredible seeing people in 2023 that are 100% new to the game. I've played since 98 and can't stop. I always come back.. just like the WoW drug. Pwnstarr is 100% right, 90% pks run once you fight back and also most are pretty bad. It's freakin hilarious.
I just started this build and man I took out 2 pks (REDS) that where not expecting me to have Magic Reflect on and 2 scrolls plus the switch to war axe from pick quickly and using GMR pots and my MR and I did see them on track with the overhead warning, so I was rdy but nervous never attacked back, I usually run or die...even though I'm a dexxer lol in dungeons as my main.
If you're like me and aren't fast enough reflexed for pvp (meaning old) tracking/hiding/stealth pays off well too. But it is the best feeling when someone jumps you to take everything and you wreck them. Too bad there is no tbag animation.
It's funny I was building this template yesterday and was trying to figure out just what skills I was going to use. Glad I dont have to bother haha. Now I am trying to figure out what stats because I dont think 25 int is enough...
it definetly is. your only casting recall and an interupt or two. your going to want that fastest swing speed possible. shying away from 100 dex will make you swing slower and give you less chance to interupt the pk. shying away from 100 str is putting you at a disadvantage in terms of hipoints.
I wanna make a "Pure Farm" build that has mining and lumberjacking together. Maybe also tracking and recall seeing as I wont have combat. Also blacksmithing so he can equip my dexxer with ok armor. Is a pure Run/Farmer/blacksmith viable? I just dont wanna make 3 characters, lumberjack and miner and blacksmither on 3 different characters cuz i have alot of catching up to do. Or is it definately way better to split it up into different characters?
How much more profitable is a miner compared to a lumberjack? Currently building a lumberjack and just like the RP aspect of it, but kind of want to make sure lumberjacking is not much of a dud when it comes to profit compared to mining.
Gotta turn down that background music down a touch but otherwise you make some of the best UO content on here! Going to be checking out Outlands, also don't want to pay a sub for a 20 year old game.
@@Threaopolieze Because Eval and Med give you a free cast chance. You save on regs getting magery to where you need it. After that, you lock mag and drop eval and med.

I started playing in November. I played OSI servers from 98-06.
I'm brand new. On my 2nd day. Pretty overwhelming at first with all the stuff to learn.

looks like grape apes lumberjacker pvp build. big fan of the play style.
I miss grape ape :( his videos were a++++ informational

That zoolander clip was the best LOL

Nice. Might just have to abandon my stealth spiders for this template; makes more sense.
sneaky spidersssss
TY . another great one !
Thank you friend
I’m laughing as I watch this. Great angle, can’t wait to try it.
I enjoyed talking to you about it on discord man. I'm glad you thought it was a good idea
Aye 😃 thanks for mentioning it; great idea/timing!
Hello Pwnstarr! great video! I love yours all... =)
Thanks Torque! u da bomb
Old UO player coming back to action here! Your videos are very helpful. Can I trade mining for lumberjacking? Thank you
@@josecarlosfalcoski 👍 yes! You'd also want to switch macing out for swords in that case
@@PwnstarrGaming thank you good sir
haha the death sound..

Nothing wrong w what you want to do. Have fun!
Armor tips? Full out plate or mix plate with something?
i would shy away from full plate as a pk can just mindblast spam you.
quality armor wont be super necessary so id just get ringmail or even leather.
Now that focus is a thing would it be better to work that into this template?
No, it won't help with mining at all nor pvp

Thanks for the feedback ! See you on Outlands !
What starting skills would you go with?
Med magery eval
Then you get the free casts to take magery where needed. Then you can turn down eval and med. The rest is all free skill gain.
You want us to start with skills that we won't even use later? These comments are making the video even more confusing.
@@Threaopolieze Because Eval and Med give you a free cast chance. You save on regs getting magery to where you need it. After that, you lock mag and drop eval and med.
Whats best macer weapon? War axe or maul?
War mace
I think maul and mace MIGHT fall in the same category.
But for pvp war axe or club, or a staff
I want a video of someone showing how to run three miners at once, quite tedious but you will be swimming in gold.
😄
Hi bro so I got stuck at character creation but what are the starting attributes for this and skills for new players?
Magery med and eval. Then turn down what you don't need. That way you get the free cast spells for training.
@@PwnstarrGaming what are the starting values for mage, med and eval? and stats?
@@epahsantiago magery 50. The rest really doesn't matter. Those will be turned down..its just for the free spellstone casts.
@@PwnstarrGaming thank you very much!

Need a fencing tank mage
OHhhh that sounds fun
Another great one… thank you…. Logging on now to upgrade my miner…. “Shit in my hands and clap”…😂😂😂😂

Could you just afk fish and raise the harvest aspect lvl?
I'm not sure if fishing raises it.
If it does and your caught afk you'll get jailed.
Either way if your resource farming afk you'll be jailed.
It should be noted that harvest aspect is VERY expensive
VERY
Wait there's a harvesting aspect now? I've been afk for way too long o_o
YES AND GADGET TOO!

Do you need someone to come test out your build? 😂

This game still exists!? Hasnt been the same since trammel arrived, even after insta hits went away :(
It's a player run server. It's UO redone. No trammel. It's called UO Outlands.

Oh yeah you referred to heaps of people. What's the pop
@@Rainmain667 about 3k on at any given time. Pop increasing too.
I forgot to add it's also a custom map.
LUMBERJACKING TEMPLATE BRAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA lol
You didn't tell us how to make the character?!?!
That is the most important part. What skills to start with.
