This is so helpful! Note that sometimes Pan Follow is called Tilt Lock, and PoV can be called FPV. To summarize: Lock = all axes locked. Tilt Lock = Pan Follow = pan only. Follow = follow tilt and pan, but horizon is straight. FPV = PoV = follow all axes.
Thank you Zdenka. People often explain camera n gimbal movements but not the mode one must follow. I was a bit curious at what fps did you shoot these videos. On my google pixel 8 pro screen i was seeing some jitters especially in the inception mode one.

So very helpful! I've made myself some cheat sheet index cards with notes from this video to carry with me until i can memorize the best modes for the shot. I have vacations coming up and I want to film some b-roll footage whenever possible. Now to figure out external lenses for my s21 ultra. Grand Canyon area coming up in September.

I just found your channel which is very helpful and I have subscribed. I have been filming for a long time. I usually use many gimbals. I’ve just got this Hohem v3 isteady. When I use the prism app and do a live recording using the Hohem which I have just done today using this gimbal for the first time when I finished and started editing, I noticed it was very wobbly from left to right which did not show up on my iPhone 15 whilst filming. Which mode should I be using when I am out walking around cities or towns doing a live broadcast and filming. I also have the DJI Osmo gimbal 6 SE which does not show any wobbling from left or right, what do you think is wrong?

@@ZdenkaDarula I have a thing called discitis I have had it for 12 months google it and look at the images they’re not gory they just x-rays then you’ll see what I’m talking about why I can’t walk and how much pain I’m in I have to wait till infection completely goes before my surgeon can operate first of two operations.

Good examples. How much time did you put into learning one mode? I mean when you are out, do you stick at experimenting with one mode until you have it? Also I am not good yet at when to twist my wrist or when to turn my whole body. Some things come naturally to me but gimbals it turns out are not one of those things.
Yes you simply just need to play with it few times. The more you practice the more clarity you will get… I used to just sit and literally played with it to see how it moves
Thanks for the great gimbal techniques! Always love learning from new people. One technique i seen was while you were walking backwards..you can walk forward and reverse the shot in editing 😉
Sadly, people are teaching the birds here to be more and more aggressive by feeding them from their hands. so when I show up there in the winter and nobody is around, they are literally attacking me and sometimes flying right into my lens or to my face just to get food… they are not supposed to behave like this

Thank you for your comment. This video is older so I am not 100% sure if this gimbal actually charges the smartphone. Some gimbals have the ability to charge the smart phone others don’t.

thank you, however, can not get locked position with gimble, keep moving other modes must be a fault with it lock mode is simple it tays loced, have this model you are using but will not stay in lock mode, tried everything?
thanks for your reply, sent it back now, it would not balance, or calibrate, which think it got damaged in transit, however replacing it with a Holern M6 thanks, will look at your channel for tips

You are very welcome… it was just in automatic mode 60fps so the jitters are there. You can avoid it by filming in manual mode

I honestly don’t know what it could be… it should be pan follow mode for walking around but I am not sure why you get that

The latest DJI Osmo, mobile six gimbal, has the ability to use it also with native camera app. The same goes with Hohem gimbals and Zhiyun gimbals

thanks for your reply, sent it back now, it would not balance, or calibrate, which think it got damaged in transit, however replacing it with a Holern M6 thanks, will look at your channel for tips
Hmmm I don't see any filters on - what exposition settings are setup ? I know you like 60 fps but that mean 1/120 time and auto ISO ?
