Elf Soft Glam Foundation On 68 Year Old Skin

In today’s video I am sharing my experience with the Elf Soft Glam foundation. I think this is a great option for women over 60.
I recently purchased it from Amazon in the shade 25 Light Neutral. I’ve worn it on numerous occasions and am finding that I really do enjoy to coverage it’s providing me.
It has a satin finish and I don’t find that it’s settling in my fine lines or wrinkles.

You have good skin to begin with, obviously you have taken good care of your skin for years. The foundation looks good on you, its nice to have more affordable options than $40+ foundations.
@@mtngrl5859 Thank you for your kind words. Yes it’s great when we can find affordable products that look nice on our skin. I’ve been using this for a couple of weeks now and enjoying it even in the Florida humidity.

I have bought that foundation, but have not used it yet. The test will be if it melts off in the heat of the day. I tend to skip foundation in the summer months for that reason. I do use their primer and blush and like, so we'll see how the foundation holds up.

Such a soft and pretty look. I am in my 60’s and enjoy the less is more look. Thanks for the tip to use the Laura Geller foundation for the eyeshadow base. I purchased this and it left my face way too shiny for me so it has been sitting in the back of the drawer. Thank you for sharing!

This foundation looks great on you!! I like the idea of mixing the cream blush with a little foundation and tapping it on to even out cheek color. I have a naturally ruddy complexion and often apply cream blush first, then foundation.

It’s a matte finish so I usually add a gloss on top.

@@AboutFaceWithMona I heard you say that in your video and honestly I’m thinking I might change my outlook on this. It’s hard to find a good self tanner that doesn’t turn you orange. And the stench! I think the amount of blush we enjoy has to do with our natural coloring. I have a medium tan skin tone and a deeper natural flush. So for me a deeper blush tone seems to look more natural. I find that blush fades pretty soon anyway, so no matter what I use it doesn’t stay there for too long. The foundation you used looks very good on you.

I’m 67. I just bought this foundation. I haven’t tried it yet. Seems to be the in thing now. I think it looks nice on you. I still color my hair. I’m not ready to grow gray!
It's so good! An affordable option and last all day for me. It took me a few tries to finally go grey, don’t think I’ll ever go back.
You have really nice skin, you hardly need a foundation. Nice demo. I’ve been looking for a foundation since now I’m developing some dark spots. Also… You forgot to tell us the self tanner you use, I self tan too.

Looks very smooth does this cake up and start drying your pores through the day
I’ve not had any problems with it caking. I make sure to use my skincare underneath so my complexion is nice and hydrated. I don’t powder it but I have dry skin. I’m enjoying wearing it.

Why bother with blusher you can’t see it
Thanks for your input. During the day I enjoy just a wash of color on my face. If I have an event to attend or making up for an evening look, I might wear a more pigmented look. However, I always think less is more, especially as I age.

They’re there! I am lucky and have good genes. At 91 my mom has lovely skin.
That shade of foundation and lipstick looks like exactly the same colour they put on my dear dead grandmother - when they laud her out in the casket.
