  • How to use the arms in badminton - 5 shots biomechanics. I will show you how not to use the arms, and also how to use them correctly. In badminton the arms play a key role in getting more quality in your shots and movements. The arms can generate more jump power, and shot power as well. They also give you more balance on court and help you reach for the shuttles, and hit them higher and earlier. Let me show you 5 examples on this, in this tutorial - Enjoy!
    The 5 shots are (+link to full tutorials) 👇🏻

    Are there any reasons why Asian players use their non-racket arms differently, compared to Europeans? I see their non-racket arms are not as extended as European players.

    Using your arm is a reflex action. Well a beginner may not use his/her hand completely right, but I'm damn sure no beginner would stick his/her hand like u r doing in ur wrong shot example. Be a little realistic

    • @BadmintonFamly
      @BadmintonFamly  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Agree but sometimes you need to over exaggerate to make a point 😎 But actually I have some students that do like this so a bit realistic actually 🙃

    Thanks Sir for the video. I am a beginner so I wanted to ask you on how to have proper timing for hitting the shuttle as sometimes I do smashes then I miss the shuttle or with backhand . I can't keep the track of the shuttle properly and so I miss a lot of shots .
