I miss both of them, but I know they’ll both be with me forever in my heart. Dads dog: Patch, Shetland sheepdog, 14 Moms dog: Leela, German Rottweiler, 13 Loved’em both and spoiled them to the core.
This is what makes games so good: you feel connected to the characters that make you relate to them. For example: Fenrir’s death. Nothing hurts us more than having to put your dog down.

He lived with FIV and FeLV for almost 2 years, and he sometimes spent more time at the vet than at home. This game came out when he was on a critical state, but he managed to get better. Now, after his death, I'm here listening to this, while having flashbacks of the great moments we spent together. I.m a cat owner, and I’ve had to say goodbye to my oldest cat when they were getting old and too tired to live. Santa Monica Studio really nailed this scene. I believe a lot of pet owners could see themselves in this scenario. It’s hard to say goodbye to the ones you love.

There I was, excited to start a new game and then only like 15 minutes into it I'm bawling wtf On a more serious note, I have been allowed to hold pets as they were put under before being euthanized. There's nothing quite like watching them slowly relax after being in pain and fighting for so long and knowing they could finally rest. Its weirdly happy but heart wrenching at the same time and I think this OST did a great job of representing the helplessly sorrowful beauty of a moment like that.
For some reason in my opinion, one of the most powerful parts of this track is 1:05-1:27, especially the ambient sound at the very end between 1:24 and 1:27. idk why, but there is something about that part that brings out the most emotion in me.

I'm pretty sure the reason why they never put this track as Fenrir dies was because they knew that the audience would cry for hours instead of continuing the game

I can see a little bit of similarity at 2:48 But if you want real similarity look at the start of Jin sakai’s theme from ghost of Tsushima and the start of mimir’s theme from god of war 2018 “this isn’t living” , the first 5 seconds are literally the same
I feel like they mixed together so many separate tracks for this game that in end the really good ones can only be heard by rewatching the scenes themselves. It’s kinda annoying but i excuse it cuz this is a 10/10 game to me still.
