Hey Tom, I can never get enough quality advice in dialogue editing. Can you please do an in depth video on the more meat and potatoes process for removing pops and clicks manually. How to treat them based on frequency spectrum best use of the tools available. Not the most exciting thing to cover, but a revisit would be super helpful. Have a wonderful time off and happy holidays. Thanks always!

    Hahahaha......I hear ya man!
I'd be curious to see what your process is once you're done with editing to get files off to the next person in the chain. Like, do you bounce to disc or record on a new track or just send a whole PT file off?
And also curious to see what's involved on your end when the director decides they need to remove 7 min of the film and do it 11 seconds at a time?
Thanks for these....very interesting world you work in.

Send the ptx session. And charge for conforms (picture changes that affect audio).

Hi Thomas. Are there any ways to restore dialogue that has signs of a comb filtering?

Does multiband compression on individual tracks affect phase? Because WNS does, I can hear align issues when it's ON

I think a lot of plugins effect phase, even eq

Hey thomas, how to make the mic audio sound more natural
Im a small indie filmmaker and my budget only allows me to get low end microphones but the audio from those sound a little sharp…

You can use EQ to remove high frequencies and gently boost some midrange.
