Krusty Towers and Mrs. Puff, You’re Fired are some of my favorites this season! Season 4 does dip down a little over time, but it does have good things in it. Especially with the experimentation of plots.
Ghost Host I wasn’t that invested in besides the faces The Flying Dutchman makes, and Chimps Ahoy, it also expands on Sandy’s science side we see more often throughout the series.
The line in the Krusty Towers episode where Patrick says, "I’d like one room with cheese. Oh, and can I get cheese on the krabby patty too?" cracks me up.
SB: We were all out of cheese.

Mrs. Puff can't even catch a break for 11 minutes without a certain sponge ruining her life. 😥

I just can’t help but feel so bad for Mrs puff. I used to laugh at her bad luck as a kid but now rewatching this as an adult, I feel so bad for her. And what I don’t understand is that why can’t she just get SpongeBob expelled?? And let me remind that she DOES have full power to do that because in the ep where she went to jail, she revealed that the boating school is hers. So I just don’t get why she doesn’t just kick him out if she cannot stand him 😅
And as for the hotel ep, it’s such a hilarious one. And not gonna lie, squidward actually having fun at the pool with SpongeBob and Patrick was pretty wholesome. Too bad the heavy pool ended the fun 😂😅
Krusty Towers and Ghost Host are my favorite episodes
Despite what people think of season 4, I think some of these episodes are classics as well. Krusty Towers and the You're Fired episode have some amazing moments.
Squidward takes advantage of Mr. Krabs' plaque to annoy and get revenge on him for making do all his dirty work. I'd actually get back at him for it, by making him work with both SpongeBob and Patrick at the Krusty Krab forever to get even with him.

If you’re talking about the timeline of of the show Shanghai’d definitely took place before this. The Flying Dutchman in Shanghai’d didn’t call SpongeBob by his name, and in this one he did. Meaning this episode takes place after Shanghai’d.

Krusty Towers is my all-time favorite SpongeBob episode.
"Krusty Towers" was pretty entertaining.
"Mrs. Puff, You're Fired" proves that SpongeBob is unteachable in driving. Oh, and in case you were wondering what kind of shark Sergeant Roderick is supposed to be, I'd say he's a goblin shark because of the nose.
"Chimps Ahoy" was pretty great. Even though it was part of the start of exaggerating Sandy's interest in science, it was still funny, with SpongeBob and Patrick helping her out. At the same time, those three chimpanzee bosses were great, too.
Even though "Ghost Host" was funny, one thing that really bugged me was when Squidward said he didn't believe in ghosts. Why would he say this? He's met the Flying Dutchman plenty of times before. The new writers must have forgotten that fact.
Man these seasons are going by quick. And Clariss I'd love to see something you were in on your channel sometime

The way Sergeant Roderick went out made me bust out laughing. It's just the fact that he acted so badass when attempting to stop the boat, and after he said his last words, he just got hit in an instant. The added sound effect was icing on the cake.

If I built my own hotel, I'd make it an animation multi-themed. Make the lobby similar to the fancy one in Luigi's Mansion 3. The rest of the floors be changing to the theme of the respective animation friend groups in my pack that they'll be staying on. Same thing for the rooms they'll be staying in. Same plaque that the Krusty Towers has, except I'll be putting a rule for this hotel being "No enemy of mine or of my animation friend pack's allowed." To be specific, any villain that has existed throughout my entire animation multiverse that my animation friend pack and I hate. All of my favorite video game heroes and villains be my employees. I'd also install a handy helper system just like the one in Mickey Mouse Clubhouse as an extra help service.

Krusty Towers is easily my favorite of the regular episodes in season 4 (with Have You Seen This Snail and Dunces & Dragons being the season's best). It's a perfect example of how to use the Squidward torture trope in a way that's still funny. And the best part was seeing Squidward torture Krabs!
