  • This is a last minute video, there are some flaws but it's a demonstration. Later we will do a proper video demonstration.
It is not a good idea to use tubing cutters to hold the insulation back. The cutting wheel can damage the copper, and the heat from brazing can damage the wheel.
It is best to use a metal clamp.

Now with proper rest and having breakfast in the morning, my mind is able to understand some of the things I miss. You are the best teacher, hope more good things happen to you.

Heat the pipe first just to melt the brazing rod! Anthem! I love it! Just tried brazing today for the first time and melted a hole in the darn pipe.... hip hip... Can't wait to try again tomorrow with your anthem. Thanks Ty!

Lots of HVAC service is performed with an adjustable wrench ! After a few jobs on various HVAC you would think a tech would opt to carry the correct end wrench or fitting wrench and a proper wrench to remove set screws/bolts on fan blades to motor shafts. Too often I see the adjutable wrench rounding off the head of bolts, fittings, etc. What about the next service call and having to put a wrench on them? The worst of them all is those who use "channel lock" pliers to wrench nuts/bolts/fittings.

    Hello Sir, Brilliant videos

Do u suggest brazing high pressure or low pressure side first, or does it matter?

Great stuff. Can I place a request? Can you do a class on none condensable refrigerant in a unit? What the symptom's would be and how to be sure not to mistake it for another issue. Thank you so much

Thank you Mr.Ty for nice teaching. Is possible to use a propane which is use for heating and cooking or butane gas with oxygen for brazing instead of acetylene gas? Another question when set up the acetylene should be at 5 and oxygen at 10 in the gauge.🌷Thanks.

Can you do a video of brazing a Brass distributor to a TXV? Just want to see how you’d go about it

With reference to first brazing example nitrogen was purged through liquid service port and the nitrogen will come out from suction service port isn't it?....so we can proceed with brazing after pumping down refrigerant to condenser....is that safe

Do you remove the cores from the valves? Or its not necessary? The way im being taught, in my job, is not necessary.
