I appreciate the support and feedback. Being a Christian is not me looking at and judging people... it is looking at and being honest before God as to who I am... A Bible believing Christian does not look out... but looks in... I am a sinner... I deserve judgment... Jesus died to pay the penalty of my sins... to reconcile me to God... even though I dont deserve it. With that I am able to reach others... because like me... they know deep inside that they need the same thing I need... mercy...grace... forgiveness. My job is to repair broken things physically... to show others how to fix things that break... the reality is there are so many broken spiritually...lost... and only the death burial and resurrection of our Lord can repair and fix... save them... again thank you brother 🙂

Hey sam, I’m a big fan! You always make me understand more and more about hvac. I was wondering if you can do some videos on ductwork that’s what I’m learning right now.

Hi Sam , like your videos , trying to learn how to check for the common reasons if the AC or heating fails . Do you know someone in Tucson who will do a job as complete as you would ?

Thank you so much for the knowledgeable video man, you’re truly a great mentor! Kuddo’s from San Antonio, Texas!
P.s. What are your thoughts on A/C seal (solderless brazing)?

So there is a product I have been waiting to use called HVaC Glue it is the same as the product you mentioned. I've reached out to many technicians who when they hear about it are excited that there is s product like this on the market but have never tried it. I've heard concerns about if it can hold the pressures of a refrigerant like 410a. Guess I will be making a video soon!

thanks for the video. So by adding nitrogen, this mean that the furnace tube are already brazed? Do you blazed the condenser unit first?

You don’t need to apply any type of flux to allow the brazing solder to flow better?

Hi I have issue with ac when I turn the thermostat on starts and working normal and blow cold air and after for 5 or 10 min stops working. I tried after hour when I switched off and turn on again and is doing the same after 5 or 10 mints stop working. Please let me know if you have any answer on this problem. Thank you

Unfortunately it is not as simple troubleshooting without seeing and working on it. The best advice I can offer is isolating the problem.
Set thermostat to cool and auto. Lower temperature.
Go to the air handler where blower is. Is it running? Is it running full capacity? Is it running and stopping?
If all checks out go to your condenser outside.
      Is the condenser fan running?
      Is the compressor running?
I suggest going through this process.
Turn on your system let it run. Once it stop blowing "cold" check your blower motor is it running?
Check the condenser is everything running? If not what has stopped?
      At that point troubleshooting begins.
Keep me posted as to what the issue was. I have plenty of videos on my channel for beginners how to troubleshoot.

Thanks for the great videos. How long do you normally run the vacuum pump? Do you use a micron vac gauge?

Do ya ever put flux on the pipes before brazing or soldering them? Simple truths often misunderstood I agree with for sure.

    • @MoreThanMaintenance
      @MoreThanMaintenance  5 ปีที่แล้ว

I do not. I did work with a guy who did do this every time he used the torches. His reasoning was it cleaned the pipes. I did do it a few times but for me personally brazing has alot of steps as it is...I did not think it reasonable to add an extra step. Whether someone chooses to or not is really up to them. Hope that helps. 😁
