Very nice video. I was an EMT in the military from 1985 until 2005. I'm building a kit after many years of doing direct patient care. Thanks for you post!
Just came up on this video, great kit! I run the same bag for my personal aid bag and literally have pretty much all of the same stuff in it as you do, sure can't ever complain about how great NAR products are! stay safe out there man .
Yes definitely do a video on the tourniquet great video, i’m also a volunteer fire fighter in Pennsylvania Marshalls Creek and I know how vital it is to have a trauma bag in your own personal vehicle it comes in handy.
Good morning from the Great State of Texas. I like your bag and the list of supplies you carry. I do ask, I might have missed it, but her goes. How come you do not carry gauze pads and rolls of gauze. Not all bleeding needs the expensive pressure dressings. Also, please put the cold pack inside a zip lock bag. I have ice packs brake inside my bag and ruin the other contents. Very good bag lay out, I like it Thank you for your time in making this video.
My trauma kit is for me and my family and loved ones, I’m not treating other people because people are lawyer happy. Even with the proper certifications doesn’t protect you from legal action!
@@robertcollins8621 I respond as a volunteer firefighter / EMT. As long as I stay within the established protocols of our medical director, I am covered by their insurance.
A rubber band flipped in the middle and over both ends of your shears, on the front of your pack will keep it in place, a small bottle of water for your oral medication, a good well stocked kit, but expensive as you say.
Finally someone who literally has everything useful at the BLS level.

To save space I use compressed gauze which expands when the vacuum seal is opened. There are two of them in the bag.
Get a badge real to attach to your trauma shears! From a bag to pants, you’ll always be able to keep them close. :) Nice video, thank you!
