Yeah, and I don’t think it’s weird to donate them. I am actually using a cup, but pads, especially of this band, aren’t cheap. No shame in donating them. Most women menstruate, it’s no secret 😅
Congratulations on the 5000 subscribers!! I loved this before and after and i think it’s lovely to donate womens supplies to a shelter 💗 Also, i really feel like your home is visibly more tranquil! Happy Holidays!! ☃️🥳
this cupboard is such a window into how organized of a person you really are. You were just above what you could handle (as we all are). Hope you’re feeling better!
Thank you for noticing that! I feel like I keep trying to prove to everyone that I actually prefer to be super organized, and I’m waaay more at peace when things are decluttered and put away. Of course I don’t have to “prove” anything but I feel like I keep saying “no really, I hate when things are cluttered!” 🤣 my goal for 2025 isn’t just to finish decluttering the house, but to work on balance between my work life and home life so it doesn’t get out of hand again. 🤩
15:38 Great job!❤ I love this series, your personality shines through & makes me smile. I appreciate you sharing your thought process so we can learn options too🎉
@@miepedersen2601 that’s a good point - I guess I was thinking of these as “upstairs candles” lol but why? 😂 I’m not sure if they’re too tall for the drawer though, but I might be able to rearrange things and make them fit together.
I enjoy hearing your thought process as you declutter. It helps me as I work on decluttering my own home. As I get older, I want to have less stuff to take care of and for my children to deal with when I’m gone. In the past, I would tell my children they needed to keep something because it belonged to my grandmother, who they never knew. I’ve changed my ways and now they know they can keep whatever they want and get rid of the rest. I need to break the cycle of holding on to something just because it belonged to a family member. It’s been liberating for me.
My grandma put little labels on the bottom of her special things if they came from a relative or ancestor. It made it very easy for us after she passed to decide what we wanted to keep. She also got rid of the vast majority of her possessions in her old age… sort of like Swedish death cleaning but I don’t think she knew what that was.
Hi Jamie, you crack me up! Love your humor! The cabinet looks great and it’s a nice cabinet to have. Such cool storage with the book shelf next to it. Have a wonderful evening. ❤❤❤❤
How cool that you are almost done now and are ready to enjoy Christmas. I´m still sick - and Christmas is around the corner. 😷🤒🤧 I have my travelsized stuff with my suitcases so it doesn´t take up room in my closet or bathroom. Have a nice weekend!
Nice job! Looks great! When you put your towels away I remembered that I had a basket of clean towels that needed to be put away. I paused your video and put them away. Yay me! 😂
Haha yay! I think there’s a term for that… mirroring? Something about when you’re watching someone do something while you do it at the same time. I find myself cleaning while watching cleaning videos 🤣 I almost can’t even clean a toilet now without putting an Auri Katariina video on my phone 💀
Away at a friend's last night so double Jamie tonight! Plus I got to clean out her fridge which had become log-jammed... She was super-grateful and I LOVED checking dates, decanting multiple open products, and discussing just how much cheese mould is TOO much... Thanks Jamie!
Love your decluttering videos! The transformation of your living space has really been great this month. I really hope that you film going thru your office once Vlogmas is over. A long time ago the Kaiser hospitals in southern California would take old expired medication. You might check there.
Hahaha yes, the way my bladder has been lately I was wondering if I’m going to regret donating them 🤣 hence the panty liners! If I laugh too hard or sneeze wrong it’s a problem 💀💀💀
@@Jamie_ChaoticI am working on it and it gets better… still young enough to tackle it with training. The second pregnancy really messed this up for me as I had very bad bronchitis two times in this pregnancy.
I've commented on another vlogmas video that you're ending this year right. You'll start off in January making life easier for yourself. I reorganized my bathroom cupboards & the one under the kitchen sink with the clear bins. My plumber was impressed when he asked me to take everything out to work on the sink & disposal. Plus when the pipe was leaking, a bin caught it; no flood. I use them in my pantry too. Congratulations on 5K!
Great job! The police station in my area has the secure box to deposit old prescriptions, so definitely check there. I have also dropped them off at CVS. Not sure if all CVS stores have a collection box though.
Love your videos and hope you're feeling better. CVS has a bin by the pharmacy for the meds. My suggestion for travel products, is to continue using them even after you get back home from your vacation. This way you can buy fresh next time you travel which may be months or years later. I place all my empty, washed and thoroughly dried, refillable bottles, along with any cases or packing cubes in my luggage.
You're close to 6k subscribers! How exciting! Great job decluttering and organizing the cabinets. I kept thinking that you'd decluttered a storage bin that could be used in the cabinet, but I guess not. That's wonderful storage. Everything looks so nice. Good luck with your party tomorrow. Hope you have a great time. Take care, Linda 🦋
April of Space Maker Method suggests turning labels to front whether in bins or on shelves as it gives appearance of being less cluttered. Great job donating/purging!
Your systems are working for you in the long term, I'm glad. Maintenance is something we all have to do, it's how you discover you'e almost out of something, another is expired,...
Hey girl! I have watched you from your humble 😂 beginnings👏! I don’t care what you call your channel. I get your humor and enjoy laughing with you! This roulette has been PERFECT! New viewers have no idea how far you have come. I’m cheering you on from DFW Texas!!!!!❤

You have a hazardous waste dropoff center at 17121 Nichols, HB. You can drop off everything there. Household Hazard Waste Collection Center. It just a straight shot across Warner then right on Nichols.
I think you should donate half of the panty liners too, if you sure you dont go through them in the next year. And my perfectionist needs to tell you, you forgot to go through the little white drawer organizer 😂 I love this series. Got the Motivation to declutter to everytime i watch you!
You're doing great, Jamie! One word of advice about the menopause thing- keep using your birth control, even if you aren't having periods any more. Change of life babies are a thing!😂
Also did my medicine cabinet yesterday. I check at least twice a year if we still have our emergency stuff or if anything is expired. We’re fine this year with sicknesses. It’s the very first year nobody was too ill to go to work, school or kindergarten since the kids began daycare 😮
Oh I totally understand that, once the kids start school/daycare we were all getting sick constantly. Awesome that you guys stayed healthy this year! Knock on wood, I was the only one that got sick this year, my boys usually catch some crud at school too.
Don't get rid of all of the pads...I was at the end of a year and I got a period right at 365 days later. I was so mad that I was going to have to wait another entire year!
It’s been more like 2 years for me now! But I do have an open pack inside the bathroom under the sink for just in case. TMI but I did need them randomly once when I thought it was over - perimenopause/menopause is a fickle thing!!
Speaking of your favorite word panties I did a little mini clean out today of my panty drawer. I didn’t count how many I got rid of, but I had an arm full that I carried to the trash. Ones with the elastic coming out like rubber bands, holes and disgusting looking. Some that were way too small and I’m never gonna be that size again. I kept a small amount of one size down because I still have hope for that size but not two sizes.
Let me tell you when I did my clothing clean out a few months ago, my favorite part was off camera - throwing away all my underwear and buying all new. Mine were in a similar condition and just grossly too old. I did it with socks too and it really made me realize how rarely I was buying new socks and underwear 🤣
@@Jamie_Chaotic I enjoyed your clothing clean out. It’s funny I started watching you because of Beth and as soon as I saw your dresser, I knew I’d watched you before when your channel had a different name because I love mid-century modern and I already followed mid-century wasted, and I didn’t make the connection.
It is! Hubby just checked our local one yesterday because he needed some cold meds and they have a drop off bin there. So that’s one task that will be easy!
Any prescription or over the counter drugs can go in drop off. Yes police stations and pharmacies have drop off boxes in lobbies. Your home is looking good! I love the mid century decor

No shame in the most natural thing on earth that creates all human life 🥰
i finally made my own fish bowl. cleaning things like wipe base boards in master bath, clean bathroom door. only took 20 days of motivation!
I love hearing what is in other peoples fish bowls! 🥰
Love using this for cleaning tasks, great idea!
It's so satisfying to watch things get easier for you. Havening things already straightened up will make it so easy to clean for your party
