My favorite bit of stupidity in the movie is when Jetfire busts through the back of the Smithsonian and they are suddenly in the Boneyard. That's one long-ass museum...it stretches from D.C. to friggin Arizona. It's hilarious because they don't even bother trying to hide it...they enter from an area looking green and east coast, and end up in an obvious southwest desert.
I don’t remember if they say in movie that it was the National Air and Space Museum in DC, which is a part of the Smithsonian Institution, but I know for a fact that it was filmed at the National Air and Space Museum Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, located in Chantilly, Virginia (which is a museum I would recommend checking out). Still a ridiculous distance nonetheless.
That's because the movie had no script, basically. It was made during the Writer's Strike, so Michael just shot a bunch of random scenes with little to no cohesion, and the writers that were available had to make a coherent story out of them. Add on the demands from Hasbro to include certain characters for the toys, as well as Michael's own crazy ideas, like the Twins or Wheelie, and the movie became an utter mess. It was a production disaster.

If they could get Peter Cullen to say "Give me your face!" as the once kid-friendly warrior, Optimus Prime, I'm surprised Jobby couldn't get David Kaye to say "PUTITINMYASS!" as the kid-friendly villain, Beast Wars Megatron!"
I think it's because the helicopter Grindor turns into, the Sea Stallion, is bigger than the Pave Low that Blackout turns into. Still doesn't excuse what they did though

Honestly I’m in a similar boat as Kellen. This film was my first major introduction to Transformers and as an 8 year old I adored it all. Today I still love it in a so bad it’s good way.

It’s been a long time since my last viewing of this, so I forgot a lot about the movie and the jokes in this video. So hearing Kellen’s tragic backstory where we watched Revenge of the Fallen 26 times had my dying just as much Jobby was.
I’m glad to know there’s someone else like me who loved this movie and had it as a comfort movie as a kid. It was the same for me, this movie could do no wrong lol

Well it's not like the film really makes it clear, so I don't blame him for not realizing. It honestly just makes me sad that despite Constructicons being mass-produced in the Bayverse, we only get to see one Devastator when they could have had an army of them fight the Autobots, or at least had another one be formed in a later film.
This movie was what brought me into Transformers and I am not ashamed about it in the slightest. So much fun memories as a 6th grader and a fandom I’m in now because of this movie. While I haven’t watched it in years since I’m aware of its flaws, it will always have a soft spot in my heart.
9:00 I crunched some numbers for context. So 30 viewings of a 2 1/2 hour movie= 69 hours (not even kidding). Now 69 divided 24 is 2.875 which means Jobbys friend has seen ROTF an equivalent amount of time to almost 2 1/2 days.

Honestly I’m in a similar boat as Kellen. This film was my first major introduction to Transformers and as an 8 year old I adored it all. Today I still love it in a so bad it’s good way.

I'm not defending the movie, but the constructicons were there cz there were several ones, so if one dies there's a replacement. An example: scavenger is a replacement for the one that died in the beginning

It’s been a long time since my last viewing of this, so I forgot a lot about the movie and the jokes in this video. So hearing Kellen’s tragic backstory where we watched Revenge of the Fallen 26 times had my dying just as much Jobby was.

Well it's not like the film really makes it clear, so I don't blame him for not realizing. It honestly just makes me sad that despite Constructicons being mass-produced in the Bayverse, we only get to see one Devastator when they could have had an army of them fight the Autobots, or at least had another one be formed in a later film.
This movie was what brought me into Transformers and I am not ashamed about it in the slightest. So much fun memories as a 6th grader and a fandom I’m in now because of this movie. While I haven’t watched it in years since I’m aware of its flaws, it will always have a soft spot in my heart.
The uncombined Constructicons are merely drones. The main Constructicons are part of Devastator
I liked this movie just for Devastator as a child, nothing else.
