When you install the BP, it does replace the basic BP in the workbench, and when you pick it up, it drops the BP in a bag with everything else that may have been in the table when you picked it up. Its a QOL update that is really nice!
I don't know why but I think Avalanche is a fitting name for this rock drake, mainly because it has a snowy colour, and it's extremely loud when you dash towards a wall while gliding.
I will say Syntac, i have seen lately that the blue drops on Gen2 for me have produced a decent amount of Rock Drakes. All ascendant and super good, so if you aren't having any luck try those drops.
I'm not saying that Drakes are useless now, but with the Maewing being introduced with the superjump, incredible glide speed and being able to nurse offspring, I feel like Rock Drakes aren't as good now. Don't get me wrong, they're still really good, being able to cling to walls and cloak themselves, but maybe wildcard could add the charge-up jump, similar to the Bloodstalker, Shadowmane and Maewing, then they would be much more fun and versatile, and it would encourage people to use them more often! Idk, just a suggestion :)
@@Yungrexk I never said the drake was useless, I just said that it could be much better at mobility, especially on PvE. Just getting a little higher with the jumps can make it much more fun, plus, on PvE servers, like Syntac or me, most of the rock drakes abilities are not very useful.
Slide and Glide [Alpha] has a very good chance of giving very good Tek Rock Drake Saddles. My sister and I got 4 of them and our highest one has 202 armor. If you like those, i would highly suggest doing the Slide and Glide mission on Alpha on Gen 2

While you were on the surface several pieces of the Tek armor were unpowered/out of fuel. So you were not getting the insulation effect. Sometimes you need to manually put more element into the individual pieces.
Syntac. U do not have the insulation buff via ur tek suit because u need to feed element to all pieces before u put the skin on them. Then u won't be burning alive. Thanks for the content bro

Region 2 looks to be the small bits at the front of each eye ridge. There's a smidgen of purple there. Can't tell if it's a feather or not, I'd have to check the wiki honestly as it's been so long since I've played around with the Rock Drakes. That's what it appears to be to me though. I'm always that weirdo spending an hour at a time just zooming in and staring at weird stuff on my dinos though haha.
Next time you drop run on abb bring a Tek skiff and land right inside the drop so you can hop off grab the drop and take off as fast as possible then it makes it alot more efficient because if the skiff is low on energy just grab some ore and put it in the skiff to power it without element
96 color is one of the most common colors when it comes to breeding it seems. I have everything from therizs, rexs, gigas, bassy's they all have 96 in them. Which is my fav color as well

I love how Abberation caves are just the surface. Opposite of the regular maps.
And having played a small tribe, people used Reapers too hide their loot in the ground. So we'd bring Gasbags and Drakes too find their hidden caches.

You can get rock drakes saddles bps from blue drops on gen 2 and velo stalk gives pre maid Tek saddles. Got a few around 90
