Going to Every Rail Station in Metro Salt Lake City

On my final day in Salt Lake City, I decided to try to visit every rail station on the local network, including the TRAX Light Rail, the S-Line, and the Frontrunner.

Utah has such a beautiful rail system. It’s just weird that the trains seem to go to a lot of middle of nowhere places.

I live in Boise and really wish we would invest in a rail system like this for the future. Boise is inevitably going to continue growing and I wish we would have some proactive thinking in terms of light rail.

If you go across the street into the hospital they actually opened up the cafe for front runner and trax riders and it’s good cheap food freshly made

You should come to Chicago and see how many Divvy (bike share) stations you can visit in one day- the app will tell you! There's so many so it wouldn't be a 'every station' challenge, but just fun to see the coverage you could get.

When I did the Salt Lake City metro 20 years ago, there were signs indicating that profane language was forbidden. Sooner or later, when the doors did their safty beep, I started wondering what they were beeping over. Hilarious!
