The Ghostbusters were still kicking around a few years after the Spooktacular show shut down. I have a few pictures of them in 2003, driving the same Ecto 1 but they were dressed as Extreme Ghostbusters. Universal revived the old Beetlejuice: Dead in Concert show and called it Extreme Ghostbusters: The Great Fright Way where Beetlejuice turns the Ghostbusters into a boy band, lol

I went there every year after the show closed and didn't see them once until great fright way.

Kinda like the Country Bears can still be seen walking around the Disneyland Resort even though the Country Bear Playhouse closed in 2001.

I was literally waiting for them to start dancing when the other guy jumped on the Ectos rear bumper... Like when they do those dancing in public things

The Ghostbusters were still at the park after spooktacular closed they just walked around the park and had the Ghostbusters merchandise shop until 2002 when the xtreme Ghostbusters had a street show until 2005 when the Ghostbusters where no longer at the park

No they put the car in the back of the park where it has left to rot and a few years later a fan bought the car but thats where the knowledge of knowing where the car is ends
