This is in period pitch! The piano is from 1820, and at the time this piece was written (which was decades earlier) instruments were tuned to 415 hz as suppose to today’s 440 hz! This is in G major, yet it sounds as if it’s in G-Flat Major due to the period pitch, it’s an interesting thing to discover & learn about!
