But hydrocity is good because of the fast pacing of the level which is really good especially since it's a water level.

1:06 is the whole reason I’d gotten into this particular theme. I was playing the mobile port that I hadn’t played since I was a child. I was only ever able to make it to Collision Chaos, and fell in love with the US version of that one. But on my first playthrough of recent, I decided the JP soundtrack. I finally best Collision Chaos and made it here. And I wasn’t really paying attention to the background song until 1:06, and it caught my ear. And now I love this song and a few of the other ones I was wasn’t familiar with (Not like Stardust Speedway or anything I knew that one already)

You could actually say the same for modern Sonic. From 2008 to 2009, Sonic Team had this great new vision for what Sonic should be. Unleashed is the game that exemplifies this the most. Then Colors came along and ruined everything.

The gentler younger brother of Labyrinth Zone.

Tidal tempest is the only zone where all of the music is good (Including the Bad Future, it has a nice jam to it)
This can be applied to most zones in the game too, most notably stardust speedway
