When did I first hear this track? No idea. It feels as though it's always just been part of my favourite songs of all time, always been there, yet every time I listen I get transported away like few other songs manage to do. Every listen is an experience, no many how much I've heard it before. There's just something so ethereal and beautiful, gripping, mystifying and gorgeous about it. Absolutely adore this masterpiece and always will
there's a weird sense of longing, loneliness, and emptiness that permeates this track -- probably because it brings back memories of simpler times that we will never get to experience again. but at the same time, the fact that we will never get our childhoods back is the beauty of it all because we can look back in our memories and relish what once was
longing for a time long past... a time of innocence... late nights during summer vacation playing these incredible games. they may be gone, but I still remember them fondly 🥲
