    We just started hydro dipping at my work we build center console yachts in Tennessee and nobody has been able to hydro dip we've had three hydro dippers come in to show us how and I got to catch the last one that came in and finally yesterday I got it down and I would like some tips or tricks that you may have better help me out because I am new I've got about 3 hours of experience doing it and we're using speed shapes so I can get everything down before we start hydro dipping any parts. I enjoyed the video we've been getting our film from big Brain and we're using Mossy sauce it seems to be a good activator compared to hydrovator. Is there any difference from a clear carbon fibre and a black carbon fibre for car parts

    • @LiquidConceptsUSA
      @LiquidConceptsUSA  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not exactly sure what your meaning by a clear carbon fiber but the print that we used was a black and clear so that would mean any color that we use as a base coat would show through the "clear" sections of the film. You can also have a black and silver for instance and the base color would not hardly change how the pattern looks as it would normally be a full printed pattern so you can use a black or white base and the pattern would still be black and silver but the white base would be a tad lighter in hue or color. Hopefully that helps!

    • @dianecarpenter2551
      @dianecarpenter2551 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @LiquidConceptsUSA
      @LiquidConceptsUSA  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it is certainly possible! On that one the water rushed in a bit too quick and broke the pattern before we could get full coverage but a simple slower dip would do the trick and get full coverage like we showed in the video.
