Staying at the worlds highest hotel | J hotel at the top Shanghai tower

- Only opening on 19th June 2021, The J hotel is located at the top of the Shanghai tower, making it the highest hotel in the world. I had the chance to spend a night here, and let me tell you, it really was an experience I will never forget. The lobby, located on the 101st floor, also being a record breaking height, had breath taking panoramic views of Shanghai, including the iconic Bund.

Edit : atleast compared to luxury hotels in the US and Europe. But it is China after all.
I'd say 600 at the most expensive building in Shanghai is fair. Also if you pay by points it cost like 300$. Sure lots of better value hotel in Shanghai.
100 percent agree. As a US citizen I travelled all over Europe, paid outrageous rates for what was supposed to be top luxury. France/UK/Spain being the biggest offenders, even the service and treatment was subpar. Horrible experience in Valencia in a $800 hotel, rudest people in the world.
Then I travelled to Japan, and my jaw dropped with their version of high end luxury and treatment, my gosh am I hooked. Definitely booking this hotel very very soon, hopefully I get more of Japan in Shanghai and not Europe. Europe can see my wallet again in a very very long time, especially Spain, awful service.
