dont visit yuyuan garden during holidays. i got my lesson in 2019. not knowing it was a chinese holiday( may 1 labor day), i witnessed first time how many ppl are in china. its shocking....😮😮😮😮
side note: due to smart urban design, you really dont feel crowded at all in chinese megacities. but its a different story during holidays....

It's not smog. It's fog. Maybe years ago, there was smog and probably quite bad like in many major cities around the world, but not now. As you said there are so many electric vehicles, more than any other country (as a percentage of the car population) in the world. And, all the factories and environment have been upgraded. Otherwise, an excellent video.
Nah that's not true. It's smog and pollution. Don't spread propaganda. China is one of the worst countries in the world if not the worst when it comes to pollution. That's a fact.

I lived in different parts of china as well as Japan. What I can say is there are more fog in Shanghai but it seems to be common to show up in east asia

There are two huge problems: no one speaks English in Shanghai. and metro only for cash 😅
Seriously? No one use cash in Shanghai. It’s all mobile payment.
@@jchrisssinshs5058 try to buy ticket (metro) from airport to the city via credit/debit card. let me know if you succeed. Of course, if we stayed for a long time, we would adapt to the payments. But new arrivals can only buy tickets in cash. This is just our experience. Shanghai is amazing, wonderful city, we love it!

I just came from there. Was there for 6 days. Didn't really like it. Didn't dislike it. There's nothing fascinating about it because it's just a copy of Hong Kong. Why they felt the need to copy HK is beyond me. The metro is efficient but one thing annoyed me. If you've bought a ticket and wanted to get off one stop before the original destination, they won't let you out. You have to get off exactly on the station that you selected when you bought the ticket. It makes no sense.
