Back button focus works pretty well in manual mode, then you can easily set your preferred focus distance decoupled from the shutter actuation. Reduces the pain a little.
I bought the champagne gold version of this camera off eBay during the pandemic and have been using it for street photography. I absolutely love the size and the results I can get with it! Would be amazing if Fujifilm came out with an updated version, and/or an update to the X70!
I have owned this camera for several years. It is always in my bag. It is so very dependable with excellent image quality. It is my go to camera when I want a little wider field of view and not in a hurry. It does hunt but there are ways to adjust to that. The quick shot capability works just fine for me when needed.
MF actually works really well for me in landscape shooting, i use MF with focus peaking. I also use Magfilter adapter to attach ND / GND filters to this camera.
I’ve had a XF10 since they first came out. Despite having had loads of other Fujifilm cameras including at the moment an X100VI (which has a fault - and it’s a replacement for another defective one) and an X-T5, it’s the XF10 that I take most pictures with, because it’s always with me.
I bought this for $225 during early pandemic and it was my first taste of Fujifilm! I love the compactness and the ease of use. I don't mind the AF because I'm a slow shooter and I now also have the Ricoh GRIII and the AF difference isn't that huge! I have faster AF cameras but they are too heavy for me. The only thing I don't like about this is actually the film sims, I can't seem to find the right recipe for me, they all look smudgy and digital. I stick with RAW and just use LR to edit in post.
Sturdy.. beautiful sharp jpeg.. I use it all the time.. mainly bcus I can Carry it anywhere.. af sucks but strangly on Sr+ /auto it works fine. Battery backup is good as well.. I did let go my xm5 as I am using this more due to it being compact

I love the champagne color. I couldn't find that version...thanks for watching!

Yeah, it's a very joy to use for some type of photography. I agree!
Does the screen tilt out?
@@erin.v.z Not it does not.
@@erin.v.z No.

This camera is just too convenient to have it always with you. I agree 👍🏻

You got a real deal! Did you try the film recipe I like to use? I've shared the settings in the community tab

Yeah, this camera is amazing. I regretted selling it, but I prefer my new apsc camera with 45mm prime lenses instead 👌🏻
I absolutely love this camera. I believe it was made as less expensive alternative to the Rico GR cameras.
I totally agree and it's great. I never tried the Ricoh GR....maybe one day I'll take one
Which recipe did you use for these shots? :)
It's in the community tab
I had one for a while and didn't like it, but can't remember exactly why. Maybe I should give it another chance.
If you still have it, force yourself to use it for a month...then you'll get used to it and you'll love it.
I'm thinking to buy either of fujifilm x-a7 or x-t200 ..I think they have the same sensor as x-f10
If they do, go for it. This sensor is beautiful!
@mipmipmipmipmip why X-A7 worst in video ?
I wonder how it compares with X70
Me too...the x70 seems more of a complete camera.
We need a good quality apsc point and shoot. Nobody has one except Fuji with the x100vi but even that is a little big 💯💯💯💯💯
I've used the x100v several times and I loved it. But I love more this concept of a camera that I truly fit in my pocket 😁
Ricoh makes the griii and iiix
Great camera. But as You said af is terrible. I sold it because of it.
Yeah, the AF is too slow. Thanks for watching!
Agree with you....
Thanks for watching!
Someone is using dehancer 🙃
Ahahah, yes! I used it for the b-rolls to keep the same vibe as the pictures 👌🏻
Nice, but the X-70 is better...
I never tried the x70, but on paper seems like a better camera. Maybe one day I'll get one. Cheers!
Amersfoort :D
Yes! And a bit of Delft 😉
now the real question is it worth 500 today ? hahhaha hilarious that it is being sold over retail
I think 300€ is more of a fair price for this camera. I think there are better apsc cameras in the used market than this XF10
