Same I just bought mine and no clue what filter to get any chance you learned what it is? I brought the filter in this video but am scared to put it in the 2024
Oil is dripping from the filter area but I've tied the screws as recommended by manual. Is it normal that it's dripping the first couple of times I've turn on the bike?
@@valmirberisha5663 Honda says to replace it every time, just like the drain washer. I have reused both but usually you can only reuse them a few times.
I can not get mine to stop leaking! I put two gaskets on it still drips no matter what! Dumbest design I ever seen why oh why didn’t they just use a regular filter that can be fixed! You should never have to open a engine to change oil! I wish I had never took it out just left it in there I would have been better off! If it ever does stop leaking it want never be changed again!
What's the oil filter's part number? Or what brand/size filter did you get?
It is an OEM honda oil filter. Look it up in the parts fiche. I usually get my OEM honda from Revilla

@@DaBinChe the old one was in pretty good shape just like the one from this video so I didn't change it.
@@DaBinChe should no buy the new gasket with each oil change even if the existing is in good shape?

@@DaBinChe thank you kindly for the fast responses. I am buying a gasket right now and will not make the same mistake twice.
Thank you again.
Get ready to replace that engine when it blows. Rotella is garbage at high rpm's.

Seems like you should just take it to a shop.
