Thank you for this video, Anthony. I am a technically challenged TH-camr looking for a better and easier way to do occasional live streams in my rabbit barn. I've tried livestreaming from my phone with glitchy results then switched to hardwired laptop + Canon M50 with cables everywhere and 480p max output, so now I'm looking into the Mevo Start but am trying to grasp the tech aspects. Do I understand correctly that if using the Mevo over WiFi, I would be broadcasting to TH-cam through the Mevo app on my phone but the ethernet adapter would allow me to send the Mevo feed to my PC through NDI and stream using the TH-cam live interface or Streamlabs OBS? If I'm simply streaming my bunnies playing for hours, I'd prefer to be able to chat with my audience on my PC rather than trying to type on my phone. (I have a router in my rabbit barn and underground ethernet cable powering an access point router in the house which connects my PC.) Many thanks if you have read this novel and are able to advise me before I spend $550+. :)

hey, thanks for the in depth review! How would you handle having multiple of these? Do they auto pilot on faces even when the app is closed? Really cool to see an entry level product with NDI even over Wifi
Thank for the review - I saw the audio syn issue on several shots - That is a real concern for me - I would hope this is because of the software used record the video. If I am using it live and transmit via NDI through OBS - what is the delay like to those local displays ?
Ah right - they will be locking it to Vimeo soon just like Panasonic did with their 4k streaming camcorders, glad I saw this video, that's the Mevo Start off my list along with their abandoned Mevo, Mevo Plus range. If anyone is daft enough to buy one , that's their lookout. We are going to stick with IAT-HDMI-WF-B-H.264 Mini Encoders, they do the job to any RTSP covering Twitch, TH-cam, FB etc changeable batteries, serviceable parts and plug in any HDMI camera you want - oh and multiple simultaneous streaming channels too, don't say we didn't tell you!

You can control a PTZOptics OSD and camera settings with NDI Studio and an R232 cable.

I really like the simplicity of the Mevo, but what is the distance and recommendations for total zoom and distant shots? As in a sanctuary.

Did Panasonic lock on to vimeo or are you referring to their deal with newtek?
