    This is sad I am probably the biggest Bulls fan in the world I love MJ He's my favorite player of all time. I love Pippen. He is killing part of the legacy. Scottie pippen is so bitter right now and jealous of MJ is ridiculous. Him not calling MJ or saying anything to him after his father passed says it all. It is a known fact MJ has always given Pippen credit. MJ helped Scottie Pippen get to where He was at the player. That's a fact. He should be grateful. Go listen to Scottie pippen's induction to the Hall of Fame speech. The level of disrespect is ridiculous.

      The disrespect is from all these analysts who never give Pippen or Rodman any credit for the Bulls winning all those titles. People make it seem like Jordan was a god king and the rest of the Bulls were scrubs while they ran through the league. That’s the way it’s talked about. Jordan was a loser before Scottie came along and I don’t blame him one bit for being mad at the way he is talked about.

    • @brianr5356
      @brianr5356 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      @skillethead15 here's the problem with your comment. You call Jordan a loser but you fail to acknowledge the fact that MJ had zero, let me repeat that, he had Z-E-R-O help on that Bulls squad when he first came into the league. Then you say people didn't give other players credit and act like Jordan won everything himself. No analyst I know ever says MJ won all those chips alone. Nobody who witnessed the dynasty that was the Bulls will ever say MJ did it by himself. I'm 49, born and raised in Chicago. Got to see the greatest player who ever played the game along with the 2nd greatest Bull to ever play in Pippen. I don't know anyone in Chicago who also watched the dynasty not give any credit to Pip and then later Rodman along with other "role" players.
      Stop with the nonsense if you don't know what you're talking about.

    • @skillethead15
      @skillethead15 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@brianr5356 LeBron took his garbage Cavs team to the NBA Finals and won like 60+ games. Jordan took his garbage Bulls teams and got bounced in round 1. That’s the difference. Jordan was doing nothing but losing until Scottie and Phil.
      And Idk what analysts you are watching but every single one of them only ever talk about Jordan having 6 rings and only talk about Scottie to rip him for one of his takes. Skip Bayless literally calls Scottie Pippen overrated because he gives him no credit for what he did.
      Scottie was clamping up the opponents best player every game while Jordan just gets to shoot all the shots and he gets all the credit. It’s infuriating and I get where Scottie is coming from.

Clyde was a no1 option on a team that went to 2 NBA finals..defensively, maybe not the same. But offensively, was better, similar passer.. Scottie gotta stop this. He did say he was the greatest. Just his statistics was. If MJ avg 30 change and making the playoffs before Scottie got to the L was a horrible player. What was Scottie his entire career or anyone else matter fact.. 94 the Bulls team was almost the same. The went to the ECF, Scottie stats were similar to when MJ played, but he did well that year. ALLSTAR MVP, top 5 regular season MVP finish etc. The following year, if Scottie was soooooo great, what happened, why MJ needed to come back to help them out, why wasn't he carry the team. Pippen didn't get any credit? He made the HOF and was beloved in Chicago. MJ was clearly the best player AND came to the Bulls when we were garbage. Pippen grew into a HOF player playing next to MJ. MJ didn't stunt his growth as a player and I'm sick of people not freaking knowing what the hell MJ accomplished during Pippen's first 2 yrs on the team. MJ and the Bulls were already ascending when Pippen got drafted. Pippen is a product of the Bulls franchise that MJ led on the court. Pippen was homegrown and people don't understand that. They view Pippen as if he was always Scottie during the title runs and that was not the case at all. Pippen was FORTUNATE that he went to the Bulls and played alongside MJ because he was able to grow as a player. Don't matter if Pippen hated MJ's way of leadership, because he maxed out as a player and being part of one of the greatest franchises of all-time. There are certain media personalities, now some players it seems, who are creating the myth that MJ's career was a myth. Part of the effort to diminish Jordan is to boost Lebron's claim as GOAT - this is mostly media personalities. But some former players are pushing this revisionist history for personal reasons. However, for those of us who watched it night after night, we know who THE KEY player was, who the most exciting player was, who stirred the drink that was the championship Bulls teams... Michael Jordan. It wasn't a myth when it was happening and it's not a myth now. It's history.

      @@paulhammer3213xactly what we are seeing NOW are media personalities and former players getting tired of this over-glorification and mythological narrative of Jordan’s greatness like he wasn’t a degenerate gambler and toxic teammate who verbally and physically attacked players. The winning superseded his maladaptive behavior and people overlooked it, but he is not above reproach or criticism. You would think Jordan only played 6 years and didn’t get swept by Orlando and out played by Anfernee Hardaway or when he was crying about Detroit’s physical defense and having compromised reporters writing think pieces and editorials on Detroit lol

    Scottie is saying a lot of things for shock value purposes. He is saying a lot of these things out of his hurt. The brother is seething in hurt. He feels betrayed by Mike’s viewpoint of him in “The Last Dance” it was not a bad take. It was how MJ viewed it but I guess Scottie took what MJ said to heart. Scottie has been through hell considering his personal situations in business, marriage and not on the court, he has taken a lot of L’s and now this so now this is his way of fighting back whether inaccurate in other ppl’s eyes or not, it’s his truth.

      The only thing jordan said about him in that doc that I think Scottie could have seen as harsh was that jordan said Scottie was being a bit selfish during his contract negotiations when Scottie admitted that instead of rehabbing in the summertime, he did his rehab when the season started because he was upset with how negotiations were gong. That’s it. Jordan has always praised Scottie. Always.

      It’s a different game, guards weren’t the primary offensive focus until Jordan took it to the next level. Besides Reggie and Clyde, there were some good guards in the 80/90s that never get discussed. Mitch Richmond, penny, sidney moncrief, rolondo blackman, spreewell, Michael finely, iverson to name a few. It was an inside out game, great centers were part of that era and that was the strategy for a long while. The rules were also different for bigs, they can park there in the lane and body people driving to the hoop. Just like todays game, how many great bigs are there? Definitely not as many as before, but that doesn’t take away from one’s greatness. Everyone has to adjust to the style of play and take advantage where they can be most effective.

      @@dparks2856 that’s my point, it’s a different game. Guards were not the usual focal point for offense. Teams all looked for dominant bigs. The nba now is gaurd dominant and less big centric. Nba changed the old rules to increase offensive scoring and pace by removing old rules. These rules gave more opportunities for guards to be focal point of an offense. Hence why there are so many high scoring guards in todays league. It’s not like guards just started evolving just now, that would be ignorant to say. They just weren’t the primary focus in that era. My comment was to the person that asked about guards. We’ll how many great bigs are in this era, jokic, kat, and can you name me 10 others? It’s not the same game, that’s my point.
