- I put the Kubota and the LandPride Grapple to the test by "trying" to lift a large boulder. This grapple is amazing! We may have struggled with this task but the equipment held up.

Thank you for the research! Forks might have been a better choice for those rocks ;)
Idea;
Get a board of plywood or other plate marerial, drill two holes from the edge. Use grapple to wiggle rock on the board.
Hook up the board and tow-sled the thing out of there.
Good luck!
Great idea. Thank you!
That made me nervous and it wasn't even my equipment!
I love my 0660 Grapple and it's held up without issue.
Next time you might consider jack -hammering into more than one rock.
Yeah that was an overreach for sure. What you are saying is that I need to add a jack hammer to my wish list now? 😅
I have the very same tractor, B2650 and bought the same grapple as you have 4 days ago. Good job and quite impressive how the tractor and grapple rolled the boulder. Did your grapple come with a kick stand to hold it up when not using it? Mine didn't and was wondering if one can be added.
Thanks for watching. You work love that tractor and implement. Mine did come with the stand. They are tucked on the ends and released with a spring
Thats a big ol rock!
Looked like a fun day on the tractor!
Nice work!
Thanks Derk! Always fun to see what your limits are and how to get something done even if it doesn't go as planned.
That's a big rock. We'll done. The property is looking good.
Thanks Ross. Long way to go but you just tackle what you can.
That thing was huge! What a monster!
I used to work at a mine and I drove the big haul trucks. Ours would haul a 70 ton payload. Yep! 70 tons of product. Once while clearing a rock ledge, the excavator operator loaded a mammoth slab of rock into my truck. The excavator was a monster itself. Several of the other guys around videos the whole thing with their cell phones but we have all moved on and lost touch. I don't know if I will ever get to see that video again. It was impressive, to say the least.
Thanks for showing this. This was amazing. Full watch and a thumbs up.
Thanks Gary! I hope you weren't in the truck when they dropped that thing in there. I worked for a road crew in my younger days and they would load 10 wheelers and those guys would have hurt backs if they stayed in the truck from getting knocked around.
That’s what she said
😅
I have the same grapple with no complaints. Some of the complaints I've seen were pure misuse and abuse.
I agree with you 100%, Otis!
I don’t know how I missed this video 😏, great job Dave 👍🏻, rolling it was the perfect solution 👍🏻. So, did you have to move it after your wife came back from her walk 😉😂. Have a great one 🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻
She's only seen it from a distance away so she thinks it "looks ok". It's far from over I think. 🤣

Right front tire needs some air brody
I'll check that out. Thanks for the heads up.
Try picking up some a bit smaller. Getting an idea as to how big of rock your tractor setup will move confidently.
Hi Jeff, I've picked up plenty and this was probably a stretch but this tractor has surprised me numerous times. Good point though as you don't want to put the tractor and yourself in danger or create a unintended project.
@@BeginnerforBSeries Please show how well it will handle a boulder about half as big.
That could be in the works next week depending on the weather. Calling for 3 or so inches this Wednesday.
Nice job. Landscape fabric is the worst....fought that stuff this weekend myself
Yeah it's great for a few years and then it loses its value and a pain in the butt to remove in my opinion.
There's more than one kind of cat. You got alley cats tom cats calico cats persian cats stray cats . You can do it wrong right top to bottom front to back.
There's just more than one way
😆 well that explains it.
That was painful to watch.
