- Today I bring you my first impressions review on the Nike Quest 4 running shoe!
Throughout the video, we'll talk about: the unboxing experience (a bit different this time since I am in Mexico), key features on this Quest that makes it different, what is like wearing these for performance and whether or not I would wear these casually!

I got this for christmas and they are feel light and they're good to wear to the gym and everytime I go for a walk I wear these ones because they're too comfortable, very happy with them 👍

I bought them tonight, I want them because how soft they feel to walk, gonna use those for university and working.

I just bought these recently and I'm a big guy, these shoes are GREAT for the $75 price point. The soul is thick and the shoe is very light. I haven't had the chance to try the Pegasus or Winflow so I don't have any info to compare these with, but for me they are perfect.

Thanks for making this video. Before I watched it, I already had both shoes - Nike Quest 4 and Nike Winflo 8 in my shopping cart. As of now (11/7/2021), the price difference is $10. Now that I know the difference in engineering, I can make a better choice. The Quest 4 looks good, but the comfort might be the Winflo 8 for me. Again, thanks!
Happy I was able to help make your decision a bit easier! For that $10 difference, I would say the upgrade to the Winflo 8 is quite worth it.

I kinda like Nike with Airzoom and I totally agree with you. I love my Peg 38 /39 (I have both) for Running and Winflo 7 for Casual wear. When I tried Quest 4, Downshifter 11, Revolution 5, Renew Run 3, Renew Ride 3, Flex 21 Flex Experience NN, and React Miler 3 the absence of Air Zoom unit can be really felt.
If you are used to the Airzoom units, you will feel you need to exert a careful effort in landing your stride because the 'pop' is missing. This somehow contributes to getting tired faster, except on React Miler 3 (the react midsole with that height somehow compensates the absent of Air Zoom well)
For trainimg though the rest seems stable as you need more stability than cushion in working out with leg exercises like squats, lunges, side to side movements etc.
Yeah, the Quest has a bit plasticy feel. But it okay. It does feel hotter though. If I will rate them according to my favorite:
Pegasus 38/39 > Winflo 7 > React Miler 3 > Renew Run 3 > Renew Ride 3 > Quest 4 > Downshifter 11 > Flex 2021 > Flex Experience > Revolution 5.
My ranking is based on Energy Return and Comfort...

I just copped this for $48 canadian lol. I went half size up to 10 from my usual 9.5, its decent for the cheap price 😂

Can't compare these to the top offerings but I can say that for $75, they are my go to over the Renew Run 2 and the pair of New Balance ROAV's I have that were both more expensive.

great review! i am between them and the chepear model Run Swift 2. i want them for runninmmg and for the gym. what do you propose?
I unfortunately haven't had a chance to try the Run Swift 2. I've tried the Quest for running and training and it was actually one of the running shoes that I've enjoyed for both activities.
However, I did come across a review on the Swift 2 that claims it's very comfortable for its price and that it actually feels more premium than the Quest 4!
Based on my personal experience, I'd say go with the Quest 4. If you can try them on before making a final decision, though, I'd recommend that even more.

Yeah they can get the job done for that style of training! I wore them for HIIT workouts and they are pretty decent and the cushioning isn’t too soft or too rigid for certain jumping exercises.

Alguna sugerencia o recomendación? Estoy entre el downshifter 11 y quest 4 ! Me gusta el Pegasus 38 pero no se creo que está fuera de mi budget Por lo general no salgo a correr, pero los quiero para caminar diariamente y también usarlos para entrenar! De las 2 opciones que mencionaste (Downshifter 11 y Quest 4) yo re recomendaría el Quest 4!
El tenis te da una espuma lo suficiente eficiente al correr, aun sin ser tan "premium" como la de otros modelos más caros. Lo único es que no te da tanto regreso de energía y no tiene una unidad Air Zoom, lo cual puede causar mas dificultad con distancias mas largas.
Al entrenar, fue una de las mayores sorpresas los últimos meses, ya que se adapto rápido a mis pies y se sentía muy estable y seguro.
Nada más ten en mente que queda un poco ajustado, así que si quieres que se sienta un poco más espacioso, puedes probarlos en una media talla más grande.
El Downshifter 11 no es malo, pero no me convenció mucho ya que me quedo un poco grande (a lo largo) y ajustado en el medio pie. Lo único que prefiero en este tenis a comparación del Quest es el material que se usa en la parte superior del calzado.
Aún así, el Quest 4 sería mejor para lo que buscas.

Good morning, a query please, the Nike quest 4 shoe, what would be the entry of the foot to the shoe is it a small or large last? since I want to give it to my wife who wears 8.5 US but I don't know if I buy her 9 US. Thank you
The shoe fit me true-to-size, so if you get her regular size, it should fit fine.
If she prefers a slightly wider and looser fit, going half-size up wouldn’t be a bad idea.

I haven't worn any Reebok shoes in a long time, unfortunately.
However, based on some research online, it seems that their shoes tend to be true-to-size! The Winflo 8 and Quest 4 also fit rather nicely if you get your usual size. They are on the more adjusted side of things, though, so if you want a slightly more relaxed fit, then going half-size up would be helpful.

Out of all the options mentioned, my personal favorite is the Pegasus 38!
It's great for running, but I've been using it casually and for HIIT workouts and it's awesome for that too.

Hi, I am thinking about buying this pair of shoes for gym workouts and short distance running and my only concern though, is it very narrow in front part of the shoes? because it looks narrow in the video
They are definitely narrow compared to the newest Quest 5 and other shoes.
I don't mind them for training, but I'd definitely look at the new version for running.

Estas son un poco más angostas que el Winflo 8! Te recomiendo checar el Zoom Span 4, esas zapatilla son un poco mas anchas y también muy buenas para correr.

The Downshifter 12 is going to be a safer bet.
Just finished testing the shoe today, and the foam is cushioned and stable for a great experience. Also, the overall fit and quality of the shoe feels better than the Quest 4.

Yeah, I would definitely put the Renew Ride 2 above this one when it comes to breathability.
The material for the upper on the Ride 2 is allows a bit more air flow into the shoe compared to the one on this Quest 4.

I have a question I hope you can answer it, quest 4 vs renew 2 which one do you think is more comfortable?and which one more stable? (kind like jumps and that stuff) thanks :)
I think they’re both great but I prefer the Renew Run 2 for running because of the softer foam at the midsole.
On the other hand, the Quest 4 would be my choice for other workouts (since you mentioned jumping). The Renew Run 2 was good for this but the curvature and/or offset of the midsole made them feel weird with constant jumping and landing.

Are they good for cardio and stable for powerlifting?
I’ve only used them so far for running and HIIT workouts, I haven’t gotten a chance to test them for powerlifting.
As far as I’m aware, though, powerlifting shoes tend to be flatter against the ground and the midsole is a bit more uniform. These have a midsole that’s tailored for running and might cause injury if used for powerlifting. Also, they provide decent stability for running, but once again, I have my doubts about powerlifting.
When it comes to cardio, I found running is pretty decent and exercises that require jumping and landing are actually good too.

Te recomiendo que remuevas la plantilla dentro de la zapatilla y veas si tiene algún tipo de humedad. Esto usualmente pasa cuando 2 o mas partes de la zapatilla se pegan. Aplicando un poco de Vaselina debajo de la plantilla (no donde va tu pie) también puede ayudar.

I found the Winflo 8 to be the best value for your money.
If you want something with a wider fit and softer foam, the Pegasus 38, but that’s $30 USD more.

I prefer the Winflo 8.
The shoe simply feels more responsive because of the Air Zoom units and the overall fit feels more secure and "premium" than this Quest 4.
The Quest 4 isn't terrible and it's still a very decent option, but the lack of Air Zoom units definitely makes a difference in the experience you get out of the shoe.

Out of the 3 options you mentioned, the Renew Run 2 is the one that will provide an overall better and more comfortable experience. Also, I prefer that silhouette to wear casually because it's more pleasing aesthetically and comfortable when walking or standing around.

It’s pretty equivalent to the the Renew Run 2! Either one would be great for what you’re looking for, I just prefer the design and look of the Renew Run 2 a little better!

It's a very good price for that shoe! They aren't the most premium, but they get the job done for some basic running or wearing as a gym shoe.

The Quest 4 is actually pretty decent to wear casually for long periods of time.
Not my favorite because the foam isn’t the softest, but it gets the job done.

De los 2, prefiero el Quest 4 ya que tiene un poco más de "identidad" y me funciona mejor para correr.
El modelo ya va en su 4ta generación a comparación del Prevail, que apenas va en la primera, así que el Quest tiene esa ventaja.
Se siente un poco más optimizado para correr y el ajuste tiene estructura y es seguro. El único problema que tengo con el Quest 4, es que el ajuste se me hizo un poco incomodo en la parte delantera de la zapatilla, pero hasta el momento pienso que es por mi tipo de pie.
El Zoom Prevail no es malo pero es muy similar a modelos como el Zoom Span 4/3 o el Run Swift 2, y es difícil justificar el precio extra.
Pienso que la segunda generación va a tener diferencias que valgan más la pena, pero por ahora, prefiero gastar menos y comprar el Zoom Span 3/4 (o el Quest 4 en este caso).

I have Gout and every shoes i wear and walk with it for even just 15 min it's painful. Does this shoes comfortable enough?
It is slightly narrow at the midfoot, which might cause some discomfort when it comes to a condition like Gout.
I'd suggest speaking to a doctor and asking which type of shoe they'd recommend and making a decision based off of that.

Depends on what you’re looking for.
I prefer the Quest 4 for performance, it’s been great for running and training.
On the other hand, I have been wearing the Revolution 6 a lot as a casual shoe and it’s actually one of my favorites.

Can we use Nike quest for everyday casual use ?
Yes! They are decent to wear casually and comfortable enough to walk around for a while. They don't have the softest midsole or Air Zoom units to help with comfort, though, so just keep that in mind.

Please help me decide on whether to get Free Run 5.0 NN or Quest 4. I mostly use the shoes for general casual wear, light exercise and light running.
Go for the Quest 4!
The shoe is going to be a lot more versatile and it will be an overall better experience than the Free Run 5.0.

They run true-to-size but they are a bit narrow at the midfoot!
If you want a fit that's a bit loose, I'd recommend try going half-size up.

Depends on what you're looking for!
I prefer this Quest 4 over the Downshifter 11 because of the cushioning and the upper quality. The Downshifter 11 also runs a little large, which means you'd have to try them on first to make sure they fit you properly.

They are not the heaviest, but there are other options that are lighter if that's something you're looking for!

Hi there! my wife wears US 8.5 = EUR 40, the fear I have is if the entrance of the foot to the shoes is narrow or not! because we live in Argentina and we would buy them from here to send them to a shipping address in the USA. Do you have perhaps a video to show me how the entry of the foot into the shoe is like? Due to the issue of the tongue, it is not going to be something that comes cooked to the footwear and should obstruct the entry of the foot, and perhaps should add half a point to the size of my wife.

From the research I’ve done on shoes for flat feet, it usually depends on what a podiatrist recommends for each case.
However, most doctors and websites I’ve come across online recommend shoes that have plenty of stability and some sort of motion control.
This shoe is decent, but it’s not the most stable. I’d recommend checking out something like the Winflo 8, Structure 24 or React Miler 2 as some options that would provide more stability and support.

Nike quest 4 road running shoes is best or not?
Depends on what you're looking for.
It's great for the price but it's not the most responsive due to the foam and lack of Air Zoom units.
The upper is pretty decent, but not my first choice for comfort.
