Hey man! Thanks to your video and recommendation, I bought the Quest 4 for around 50 bucks on sale. I also tried the Pegasus 38 with the zoom unit, but honestly the Quest 4s just felt so much better idk why. Keep up the good work man!

I got mine same color when they first came out. Year later or 2 and they still look like new. They're super light big time. Super comfortable too. Another thing I found out by mistake, I accidentally poured water with water hose on top of shoe and it felt like it went through like no cover on shoe, filled up my foot with water but as I took a step to shake water and remove shoe, the water was gone. I walked to get something to dry the inside like from parking lot to stire and it was already dry by itself. They never smell bad either. Very breathable and drys quickly. Definitely recommended them.
This is miles better than the winflo 8 we had last year. I have been a winflo fan since the winflo 6. The 6 and 7 were both solid shoes but the 8 was terrible and a huge downgrade. Not only was the material of the 8 non breathable, the toe box made me very uncomfortable. I had to return the winflo 8 eventually and went back to my 7’s. Now I’ve bought the 9 and its definitely an upgrade!

I think the way you felt about the 8 is the way I felt about the 7, especially with the toe box. But I can agree that later on I realized that the material for the upper could've been executed better.
While I'm still torn on whether or not these are an upgrade, I definitely don't think they are a downgrade. They are definitely up there for best running experiences from shoes this year.
I have been looking forward to this review. I had already gone ahead and purchased 2 pairs of these sneakers. I think they are very comfortable and lightweight and love the colorways. I got the blue ones you reviewed as well as the black with red stripe ones.

Lol I got 2 pairs now too. The all black first then the blue/white. I like these way more than my Winflo 8's. These W9's are perfect since I'm up all day walking around at work. The second pair will be dedicated for working out at home/running on treadmill.

Softest winflo's to date, but youre right about the upper feeling cheap, but I think they can last a year at least

Hey man ! I am a highschool student with no experience with exercise or running. i was thinking about starting running and basic workout . I'm confused about which shoes to buy and need some assistance, can you please recommend me some shoes . Also xan you consider the budget a bit cause i don't have much savings right now 😅 . Hey bro, my pair of winflo 9 is making lot of noice while walking & it doesnt provide the stability. It feels like the sole is slippping from inside. Did you feel the same?
Good video. Does this have the same sizing as the winflo 8?
Not quite! This one has a more relaxed and stretchy upper compared to the 8, which creates a slightly wider fit. Also, the toe box is a lot wider too, which is not necessarily the case with the Winflo 8.
Both are true-to-size, but if you prefer a more secure/tight fit similar to the Winflo 8, then going half-size down on the 9 wouldn't be a terrible idea.

Hey, man! I need your opinion. I run daily in the morning and I’m torn between Winflo 8 and 9. Which cushion’s better? Which cushion kinda resembles the Renew Run 3’s? Can’t wait for your Downshifter review! 👍🏼
If you want a cushion that matches the Renew Run 3, the Winflo 9 is going to be a safer bet. It is a lot more cushioned and "bouncy" than the one on the Winflo 8, and this is the type of experience that you get from the Renew Run 3.
The Winflo 8 is great if you prefer a more "rigid" foam and fit, which is still comfortable and able to perform, but not similar to the softer and more cushioned experience you get with the Renew Run 3.

everything you said is 99% accurate. almost settled for the nike quest 5 but saw it on sale for $60, so bought these instead. I'm a light jogger maybe the upper can hold on for me.

Hey , I saw these in the store yesterday ... For me it's a pretty huge deal because I want multipurpose shoes for rough and tough use ... I had my addidas for last 4 to 5 years so In terms of comfort + rough & tough use which shoes would you recommend at this price point ?

Hey! I would probably recommend the Pegasus 38/39 for a shoe that will be durable, but also multipurpose.
The 38 should be on sale/clearance on most sites now since they are last year's model, so check those out. If they are not available, the 39 is very similar so you can go for those.
As always, try them out in store if possible to make sure they fit the way you want them to.

Great video! I think the design of both the Winflo 9 and new Pegasus 39 are pretty dull looking. It's almost like Nike is holding back for next year's Winflo 10 and Peg 40 releases. I still love my windlo 8s (thanks to your video) and use them as my main walking shoe and they have been solid. Unfortunately, it looks like a pass on Winflo 9s.

I actually like the Pegasus 39, but I have to admit that the design feels a little lazy. It seems as if Nike simply combined the 38/37 with a bit of the 36 and called it a day. I don't know that next year's versions of both the shoes will change that much, but they might surprise us.
If you have the Winflo 8 and enjoy wearing them, I'd definitely say the upgrade isn't really worth it. The Winflo 8 provides an overall different experience and getting used to this Winflo 9 might take a while.

Depends on what you're looking for!
I'm a fan of a softer, bouncier feeling at the midsole, so I have to go with the Winflo 9.
The Quest 4 isn't terrible, but it didn't provide the best experience while running.
I wouldn't recommend either for training, but I would recommend the Quest 4 over the Winflo for casual wear.

Yes, this is wide. Falls between 2E and 4E of wider versions.

Yes! The Winflo 9 definitely has a more comfortable and softer midsole.
The Retaliation 3 has a more rigid midsole due to its nature as a training shoe and it was, perhaps, closer to what we saw with the Winflo 8.

Got some a few weeks ago, and they're unbearably squeaky, every time I move in them on any surface. Did I just get a bad pair or is this a common issue? Any known fixes?

It's definitely very very very comfortable for Walking and I played basketball yesterday without any hesitation .... I'm new to AIR category of Nike so it will take sometime to get used to running but Overall it seems comfortable

Hey 👋🏽 I think both are pretty decent shoes for walking, but the Renew Ride 3 will provide a more stable experience compared to the Winflo 9. Also, the flatter surface/midsole can help with not getting your feet as tired after standing around for a while.
Something to keep in mind, though, is that the foam for the Winflo 9 is softer, so that might also be beneficial for standing for longer periods of time.

Hi there! I’m assuming you meant Pegasus 39.
Choosing one really depends on what you’re looking for.
Winflo 9 will have a slightly less responsive, but softer midsole. The shoe doesn’t feel as high quality, though, so it’s something to keep in mind. Also, it’s got this “rocker” design to it.
The Pegasus 39 is more responsive since it comes with the React midsole. The overall feeling of the shoe is a lot more solid and structured that the Winflo. The shoe is flatter against the ground, so it can also work for training.
If I had to choose one, I’d go with the Pegasus 39.

Agreed, probably my biggest concern with this shoe.
The material doesn't feel as high-quality and durable, which is a shame because the rest of the shoe is great.
Nike had huge run of shoes with bad molds and the shoes all squeak as a result. They had to send them all to outlet stores where they could deny refunds after purchase. I had to throw mine out, too much squeak
