Bob Bobby Him and Bobby Heenan would have made millions as late night talk-show hosts and comedians. The wrestling business kinda kept them down to a degree.
I wish Jim and Heenan woulda done some shows together where their comedic genius coulda played off one another. 2 absolute goldmines in themselves, imagine the 2 of them doing commentary or shows like this
Rodman is tough SOB, a great (if underrated) athlete, and crazy as hell. He'd have been great in the ring (in time) if he decided that's what he wanted to do.
And if he would only get impassioned every once in a while, or hell, all the time! He should really try moving his voice up and down a little bit to truly reflect how he feels, his monotone, sedated deliveries just give me a feeling that he's putting on. You guys think maybe he doesn't like Vince Russo? I'm kind of piecing the puzzle together, but it's still pretty unclear.
GOLDBERG VS Brock Lesnar with Stone Cold Steve Austin as Special Guest Referee at WrestleMania XX...A match where the entire building of fans are screaming "This Match Sucks!!"
"cause your a fuckin drunk and a joke and if you don't get out of my face i'll tell you more!! sorry johnny but you're an embarrsassment and a joke and you dont belong in the fuckin wrestling buisness!!" classc rant from jim!! lol
I love Jim Cornett. Everybody talks about how vague he is but I read him straight. No problems. I think hes honest and funny and refreshing. And he reminds me of my dad.
“You’re a fuckin drunk and you’re a fuckin joke... and if you don’t get away from me I’LL FUCKIN TELL YOU MORE!” Jim is the best linguist in the world! I love it!!!
Jeff Hardy vs Sting in TNA when Jeff was out of his skull. Worst match anyone has ever been charged to watch, he should never have been allowed out to the ring.
Worst matches.... 1) Any David Flair match in wcw, when he started. Worst punches ever. 2) Angelo Mosca Jr. matches in 1984. His promos sucked too. 3) Bulldog Bob Brown matches in central states. He would hold his opponent, in a side head lock, on the mat for 5 minutes. Then he would pick him up and do the headlock for another 5 minutes..... boring fans to death.
Said it before - from what I've heard, Jerome Young's a nice guy when he's not working, & he can tell a story very well, but the guy's also, unfortunately, legit nuts & WILL kill someone in the ring someday if he keeps getting booked! And yet it still happens. And in all fairness, if you get slotted w/Jack, you know what he's about. If you purposely potato him or no-sell him, well that's on you & you brought whatever happens on yourself. There's absolutely NOBODY who doesn't know by now that he's a sadistic batshit loco psychopath & God have mercy on your soul if you twist that tiger's tail.
Cornette i could talk to you all day with you about wrestling and drink beers. I grew up watching you and love the midnight express and big bubba rodgers. You were great and your pod casts are even betters. You rock brother!!!!!!
Jenna Morasca vs. Sharmell. No second thought. I would love somebody to show me a worst match, not just in the ring, but also in the context. Tigresa and the midgets gets close, but it's still better imo.
The "evening gown" match between Pat Patterson and Gerry Brisco. Watch if you dare. Its the worst piece of anything I personally have ever seen that's been called a wrestling match.
I'm really skeptical that a stupid match with two legends can be worse than a "non wrestler vs. why the fuck are you in a ring match", but I'll watch it
At least it could have been decent if Jeff decided to stay sober, and it had two actual stars who had every right to be in the ring. It just went horribly wrong
Here is one worth mentioning. Tony Atlas vs. Ted Arcidi from the Boston Garden. They spent a bunch of the match in a lockup and barely moving. They exchanged some body slams and the finish was a double count out when they locked up again and went to the floor and didn't let go. Gorilla Monsoon and Lord Alfred Hayes were on commentary and after a while they were burying the match because of the lack of effort being put forth by both guys.
Could you imagine if Corny ran baseball and decides to change all rules to annoy ShitStain since they loves to change wrestling in his own fantasy world of wrestling.
The worst, especially because of the setting, the company and the billing. The Bam Bam Bigelow vs Lawrence Taylor match that was a final match of the night main event match for a WWF's Wrestlmania. Talk about a disgrace. JFC!
I'm a huge Hockey fan, but i wouldn't book say a washed up Defenceman from Tampa Bay Lightnings if i couldn't get Sidney Crosbey (hate Crosbey but he's a star)
Worst matches I've seen was about every match at Heroes Of Wrestling. The Monday Night RAW Match Trish & Bradshaw going over Chris Nowinski & Jackie Gayda. That was really bad it was casue Jackie wasn't ready.
None mentions Dustin Rhodes vs The Blacktop Bully "King of the Road" match. The idea of a wrestling match in the back of a moving semi sounds like an awesome match, but damn what a let down. The best part was the blood, but WCW wouldn't allow blood, so they were pissed.
Dustin Rhodes and Barry Darsow (who was Blacktop Bully in that match) were fired after that match, because they violated WCW's no-blading policy. Darsow would be back in WCW a couple of years later, while Rhodes went to WWF and became Goldust.
There’s things I want to do with my life. I want to make my father laugh, I want to play baseball with my kids. I just can’t believe that someone would sit with a stopwatch and count how many questions Cornette answers in a fake podcast about fake wrestling.
@@stueymorris those were all people dedicated to becoming wrestlers. Jim's issue here is bringing people in for one night to hopefully get some main stream attention and ultimately only makes the performers look bad.

The Doomsday Cage match from Uncensored ‘96 is bar none the worst match I’ve ever seen. Granted I haven’t seen many of the other matches like Sting/Hardy, Sharmell/Cunt, or Hogan/Warrior II. I’ll get to those eventually, just out of masochistic curiosity.

Cornette hating on celebrities and football players that do nothing in the ring long term makes me happy.
didn't brian zane review that.
The second was a disaster, but the first and last WCW Rodman matches were good, and both ended with Rodman putting the wrestlers over.
Rodman is tough SOB, a great (if underrated) athlete, and crazy as hell. He'd have been great in the ring (in time) if he decided that's what he wanted to do.
Pacman on the other hand not so much
But can you clarify whether Cornette likes Vince Russo or not? Corny wasn't clear on that in this clip.
Worst match I ever saw was the shark cage match between Don Kent and Chief Jay Strongbow. What a horrible idea for a match.
“Call the cops. I’ll take pictures and sell those too.” LOL.
Cornette's Ok, but he would be better if he didn't hold back.
Frequencies_Illuminated
Right? He's so vague, way too considerate and just tightlipped.
Maybe someday he'll come out of his shell, be more forceful in his opinions.
I'm getting sick of it, if you won't name names or be specific about events then how can you even consider shit like this a shoot?
Right, I wish for once he would just tell us how he really feels
