Rivian R1S 6 Months Ownership Update and Review - Maintenance, service, and issues

We have owned our Rivian R1S for six months and driven over 9,000 miles with it now. It’s the best vehicle I’ve ever owned and we love it but it’s not perfect and there are some things ‪@Rivian‬ could improve (and quite a few that have been improved with Gen 2). Since they do a great job of listening to customer feedback and supporting the community, here is our six month review of the best vehicle we’ve ever owned.

It's interesting you mention how good the ride quality is, when so many reviews of the gen 2 say the ride was so horrible in the gen 1! I'm hoping to test drive a gen 2 this summer.

I really don't see what the complaints were about in the Gen 1. I hope to test out the Gen 2 and compare it to see, but I have no complaints at all about Gen 1 ride quality.

Great video! Invest it a microphone - especially during that outdoor intro. And try and get your edits cut so we can’t see the awkward pauses and turning the camera off etc
