    I only had service on my R1T once and it took to two weeks to book it. No big deal they came out to my house and did four fixes and all was good to go. I have had nothing but good things from the service center in Las Vegas. Better results then my two Model Y repairs by Tesla.

    Go to the Richmond service center awesome people but not even a 240v charger for customers to use in parking lot

    here is Costa Mesa.. I got our R1S delivered 8/1.. have lots of wind noise, vibration and other issues. My appoint was set for October. I will try to expedite since the wind noise is not getting any better. I have heard from other threads.. Rivian will eventually fix the issues. R1S prices in the used market are dropping so.. I'll may end up selling it under 1 year. Great SUV but just not fully baked in my experience.

    My quoted first service center 1 day service, ended up taking ~4 weeks due to 3rd parties, body shops, bad estimates, missing parts, unordered parts, and more... and it came ack with another couple issues afterwards. waiting on that to be fixed with mobile service. my first mobile service fixed a couple things, broke a new one. its definitely frustrating working with RIvian right now - takes months now and never have had a "brand new" truck yet since issues started at delivery, was delivered with a dent, messed up panel, etc.

      Oh no that is terrible. Yea the service side is certainly playing catch up with the deliveries. I hope you have better luck in the future.

    Hmmm... I would have thought your rating would have closer to an 8 or 9 based on the video info, but whatever. At least they didn't rent a beater for you, although I know when you want your truck for a weekend event, nothing else will do. The thing that I wonder about is your special washing of your ceramic coating. Ours has it and we have a touchless carwash with a blow dryer we use. $50/month for unlimited washes on 2 vehicles, and I'll tell ya, I get my money's worth from them! Probably 2 washes/week on the R1T, and maybe 1/week on the M3LRAWD, which is also ceramic coated. Never have to wipe a bug off the front end of either one - that coating is amazing! They just fall off. The shop I use recommends yearly touch-up coatings, and when I took both of them in after a year of Colorado weather, they were both perfect. Still beaded water like I've never achieved with wax. So, not sure why you'd have to baby the washings. Just sharing my experience. Keep on Haulin'! 🙂

      Yea I hear ya on the rating but the mix up on the invoice and avoiding me when I was waiting were a bit annoying. My ceramic coating requires a special wash to keep the warranty. Yours sounds quite a bit easier but I love washing my cars so no worries from me

    It's not clear why 9 days and 4 hours was the time required. I don't know what the recall was, but from what I've seen so far, the recalls are not typically very time-consuming to accomplish. And alignments, in my experience, don't take much time. Both of these seem like they are at most a matter of single-digit hours, rather than days. I'm an R1S pre-order holder (delivery in the second quarter of next year), and the length of time required to accomplish this service is quite concerning to me.

      My apologies William on the confusion. The recall was the installation of four washers on the halfshafts and torquing them.
      You also need to consider that this was the first service center that opened in the area. All the other recalls to date have been performed at my house in about 30 min. I think the backlog of vehicles is what made it so long.

      @@HaulYT Thanks for the reply and the additional information. The basics of quality management involve the elimination of bottlenecks: The experience of waiting, whether in manufacturing flow or customer service flow or elsewhere in the organization. So I reiterate my concern: A step that takes a few hours should not take several days. If it does, something is wrong and needs to be corrected.
