You're only going to die with these builds if you get grabbed by the keystone behemoth, or you get hit by multiple attacks that would deal 1000+ damage.
This is how I first-tried heroic shock escalation.

yeah I dont know what to play anymore. I was playing iceborne hammer for years, and now it looks like 1. hammer is dead because of lack of attack speed and 2. their are no real replacement for iceborn builds. :((((((
@@HerrAby For the moment, that seems to be the case, but in due time, Builds will be rolling in for us. Sooner or later, everything will go back to normal.

@@rerereuj I disagree entirely. The entire community pushed back against the changes in the first place, and they did it anyways. We pushed back against the nerfs and against omnicells, and they did it anyways. They don't care what any of us want.

To get to omnicells its a hell of a long way.
And now without a safety net of iceborne its alot less easy on somw fights
@@alextrollip7707 The Omnicells are quite easy to get actually, the materials are from basic Behemoths so i would say obtaining them is no problem. The introduction to omnicells has allowed more slots for building because a new player doesnt need to work around putting omnicell in armor slots when they can just slap on the omnicell and forget. Iceborne still offers survivability since there is passive lifesteal. I run it with parasitic and I survive alot more on tough escalations.
you don't know how much i thank you for this build, man. i was having trouble doing the blaze escalation, which wasn't even the point of your video, but it helped so fucking much. i was dying three or four times each time i tried the escalation. with this build, i didn't die once. killed torgadoro like he didn't even had 500,000 life. love u bro, thanks again

As a former discipline / rage / wild frenzy main, the omni cell changes have really thrown me off my game. I wish I could have ran heroic esca with the old cells just to see how I did. I ran this build with chain blades and it really worked for me. Sure, it took forever to chip away at the monsters, (especially Boreus) , but I got there in the end. Keep the builds, coming, TheMrTrails!
Same I could do dauntless trials easy before with discipline and half health only after year i came back to this game i was getting smacked up lol but im getting my old touch back
Bastion build idea: Agarus weapon bonded to skarn. Both slots running galvanized. Timeweave helmet with predator. Thrax chest with berserker. Malkarion gauntlets with berserker. Chronovore legs with pulse. Skarn lantern with aetheric attunement.
This will get you to a total of 6 berserker, 6 cunning, 6 pulse, 6 galvanized, 6 predator, 3 aetheric attunement, and 3 weighted strikes.
You'll easily get over 1000 shields with this giving you an extra 20% crit chance on top of cunning and pulse. You'll also have 60% more critical damage which combines super well with berserker and predator giving you the extra 70% more damage. The health loss from berserker is more than offset by the amount of shields you get from your 3 sources. I run this on chainblades but I can see it also working really well on Ardent cyclone sword. This isn't the most insane dps build but the hybrid of damage and defense it gives would let you take on almost all content, assuming you aren't constantly eating hits from behemoths.
Anecdote: After fighting blaze Reza on hunting grounds and only getting hit once or twice I had 1700 shields before my bastion wore off. This is a nice 34% more critical chance that I could have easily carried over to the next behemoth since bastion shields have a 25 second timer. Obviously not every fight can be done with minimal hits as no one is perfect, but this build allowed for me to get hit and eat the damage while still having solid enough dps through crits and berserker.
Let me know if any of you guys have any thoughts or ideas to add to the build to improve/change it.

MR TRAILS….THIS CHAINBUILD IS OUTSTANDING, I did both Normal trails and dauntless difficulty flawless
If you swap gloves for lightning gloves with adrenaline cell and boots for boreal march with galvanized cell you can still make it work after recat 🤙

I managed to adapt your old favourite build for omnicells
Thrax weapon with overpower and berserker
Discipline omnicell
Lantern of your choice with catalyst
Timeweave helm with berserker
Koshai chest with catalyst
Timeweave gloves with pulse
Thrax boots with cunning
Not sure if this is as good as it could be, I'd really appreciate feedback on how to optimise this
Notes to self: Work on getting head and chest piece, work on terra escalations to power up to fight the boss there, make all the weapons available and power up all the armor pieces.
Going to be a slight uphill battle, but I think it is possible. Just need to at least try and get those armor pieces to get as close to the proposed build as I can since I did go through and create all the skills to slot in after collecting them. Thank you kindly.
PS. Also work on strikers first get them to mastery 10 for the 5% attack speed passive buff for all weapons and then axe to mastery 10 for the power bonus passive for all weapons to gain maximum effectiveness.

So um...there's this amp that um...idk if it's a bug, but...while I was doing hesca and using the Discipline Omnicell, I got 1200 health while I was starting with 950. It's the one that you get less healing and then more afterwards.
So, basically, what I'm trying to say is that if you include that you would most likely BE-
INVINCIBLE.

Whelp, two honest tries using this build with a partner (both of us using it) and we're stuck just shy of making it to the keystone behemoth. That being said, I don't think we'd have gotten that far without this tank build. I thought we fought pretty well, but maybe we just took too long 🤷♂️

What do you think about 6 aetheric attunement,6 cunning,6 overpower,6 tenacious,6 tough,6 predator?
If the intent is to be a dps build (as I'm taking from predator) then you wouldn't use tough, you'd instead use berserker.
But tough helps my iceborn hit Harder right?
And tenacious
If you're going that much into DPS, might as well use Discipline instead

Pangar lantern is definitely weak now. Drask, embermane, and broadsides are the main options I would say, unless you want some type of sustainability, which you'd use skarn for
also is it just me but i feels like cbs can get an abnormal amount of staggers recently?

jo is malk's Nom Nom attack now an ACTUAL GUARANTEED oneshot? how much dmg does it actually do? cuz he had full 1.7k HP + ~900 shields = 2.6k and he still got gamed...

Nice Build i played heroic escalations within the first hour of release ..beat it on first try..but got dinged 2 times per round and dinged 2 time with the dragon..(was using my old medic build) went in the second time with iceborn add-on and switched to tough and tenacious medic..only got dinged 1 time the whole match...icebourne medic build is rediciously nuts..took forever but no one died but me (keeping everyone else alive and trying to dps yourself is ..Dauntless..thats all i can say

I have tested it On Hard Shock Esca. Good survivability indeed. Hp almost never go down. Cos Iceborne will heal a lot and Skarn's Lantern will give Enough Shield. Tenacious give decent Power & Crit boost. But when against High level bahemoth, don't be shy to drink Tonics.

So u use skarn weapon for the shield, te new effect Is getting a Lili shield everytime u do lantern ability, how u manage yo stack shield so fast, i have to use bastión + skarn lantern yo get the shield up fast like that
Aetherdrive tonic reduces the cool down of the lantern, hence more shield from both the lantern and the unique effect

Escalation thing is cool, but honestly as I said before the release, the reward it feels unrewarding. 50 units per combat and aethersparks it's a joke for 20/30 minutes (with the build you used). I think the only good reward is the heroic escalation merit. And all that for just ONE crown. Not to mention that you have to do 25 escalations to get all of them and that means you MUST play almost half a year (175 days, because you get ONE scalation per week) to get all the crowns. That is the most hard and long thing I have ever seen for a game for a low reward like that.

The 21K hits on this build specifically were only made possible due to the Transcendent Spite Amp. You need to have either spiteful onslaught or spiteful evasion to have the chance to get it. +125% crit damage during the Malkarion's Spite effect

You can use it on the war pike yes. The build won't be the most damage it can do, but it will keep you alive

I've played 18 months. What Phoenix Labs did is just show there business model. Consider what they took before this patch and what they gave back. No. This is garbage. I've spent ~$200 in support. Lol. I'm a child of the 70s. $200 for game. If you are familiar with no code dev platforms,they are basically legos made from data and other parses system assets. That is what Dauntless has done. Next thing you know they'll be promoting an ICO governance token for a DAO. Automated Market Maker: mmo edition. Of course, it would be leaps and bounds better than any current game related blockchain project. Yeah. This hit a nerve--becsuse just like the Devs, I too work for a living. They t o o k s o m u c h and then AI'ed in return. I'm actually upset. Did not think I was. Too bad there is no such thing as a reckoning anymore.
