Me, I loved the film as a kid and still love it.
It makes me a little sad to hear that Jodi Benson hasn't sang any of the songs from Thumbelina since it's release.... She's been singing Little Mermaid songs all these years but no love for Thumbelina... I know it wasn't a big success but still....

same here, i remember being a small child having the little mermaid as one of my favorite movies. my mother bought the vhs knowing the voice of thumbelina was also the little mermaid and that i would love it. this song ALWAYS made me cry, because i love her voice and because the lyrics are so true for everyone living. we all want our own love. to me its like the sequel to "over the rainbow" for a girl who is a little bit more grown up and looking to be more than what she is.

Like all of Fox's other animated films, Thumbelina Is tragically underrated. It was always one of my favorites growing up, I know every song by heart and still do to this day. In fact I just showed it to my own daughter for the first time this week, and she loves it too.
