Oh how I love her. As a child, I used to play my Little Mermajd tape a thousand times just to sing her song to know it by heart. This brings back memories. She still has it. She has always had a beautiful singing voice. 🥰

The concerts, being as elaborate as they are with the lighting and animation that is very Disney, would be difficult to pull off on a small scale. And Disney, of course, is its own brand which is larger than life. I wouldn't complain one iota if they were able to do more small scale performances occasionally. Even as part of the current concert tours. You know, with just Ben playing piano for the posse. Intimate like for a few songs. ❤️
A segment could be added in to show the beginnings of Ben's Princess journey. We see in the show how he lined up his princess dolls and dreamed of playing for real princesses. It would be beautiful to see more of the journey beginning with Broadway and BPP.
The thing is, you could really only go to the Disney Princes Parties if you lived in New York, or were able to travel to New York, and if you couldn't, you simply just missed out. At least with the Disney Princess Broadway concerts that travelled all around the country last year, Disney Broadway lovers all over the country got to experience them!
I know exactly what you mean. I love Disney and it's great to see the show on a larger scale. But I'll always regret not seeing the og shows at 54 below. With a more mainstream show, the setlist is more "sterilized and choreographed" while the og show had so much variation in style and songs. Not to mention the "offbrand" princess movies like Swan Princess or even just obscure Disney sequel songs are off the table. I'll have to save those TH-cam performances.

Jody understood the importance of putting life into each of the words that Ariel spoke making them matter. She knows she’s not that strong of a vocalist, so she is using her talents to coat the lyrics. I’m excited for the new little mermaid because her and Holly are completely different singers.
@Artayis Dark it's an objective statement. Her vocal power (not sound that's a different thing) is not like a Whitney or a Celine Dion, she can't belt as powerfully or as loudly as someone with a voice like that. It's about the character of her voice and how she expresses the emotions of the song.
