Samantha Castillo In heart and soul, Ms. Osnes embodies every princess trait to the core. She is the personification of grace, kindness, laughter, and humble in nature. :)
She’s rather a) an amazing soprano that channels the energy of both phantom of the opera and Cinderella or b) an actual QUEEN and should be treated as such.
OMG she and Benjamin are total geniuses. The transitions are hilarious. Plus she's so beautiful and a perfect Disney princess... Whyyyy was she not Belle in the movie????
She would have made the perfect belle. As much as Emma Watson is a wonderful actress the role of belle should have gone to another such as laura who would have been a fantastic breath of fresh air not someone who has already been in a major film series
She can have any audience eating out of her hand in one note. She is the manifestation of grace, beauty, graciousness, and class. I will follow her and her career anywhere.

I'm predicting a revival is right around the corner. She is one of my top choices. I know there are many musical theatre actresses who love Belle. However I choose Laura among a select other few as my hopeful choice because I think she will bring her own interpretation to this iconic character while paying an homage to all of the actresses who came before. I don't want a carbon copy of Paige O'Hara or Susan Egan. I want the actress chosen to bring her own flair to it. But always honor who played Belle prior. Laura does this with grace and poise in everything she does. :)
Anyone know the email address to Disney headquarters? I can link this video in with it if anybody ever finds that information out along with me giving a novel length post why she is so perfect for it. Disney just is not looking in the right places. We need to steer their attention over to Laura.
Oh my gosh she is an amazing Anya! I literally jumped when she started singing Journey to the Past! And she just is a living, breathing princess in general who just seems like such a sweet person.
I’m still here after 2 years and I’m still shocked. Laura is a real life Disney princess and I’m 1037393849% CONVINCED that she can pull off every role. She’s my inspiration♥️
I think that Laura should be the voice of a new Disney princess someday. Her voice is so sweet and magical. Please Disney, make a new fairytale musical and cast her as the heroine. It would be a match made in heaven.
This just did miracles for my stress level! Disney songs and laura are seamless together. Those transitions were brilliant. So smooth that people couldn't even catch onto them like the one from "a dream is a wish" to "someday my prince will come." It all sounded like 1 epic song. Perfection for both Ben and Laura.
On behalf of everybody who was involved with this special concert. I ask for everybody to refrain from negative commentary towards to the actresses cast in the musicals Anastasia and Frozen. And such fowl language is an insult to what this concert stands for. Let those young women shine as Anya and Anna in those musicals. Sure, we all ADORE Laura beyond compare but the fact of the matter is, she will not be playing either. She has the upcoming musical Bandstand. Still so much to celebrate and look forward to! Laura rocks and that is all that matters.
carryoncarryon Absolutely! Since I won't be able to make it to NYC to catch it live (unless it is successful enough to create a North American National tour of it) the cast recording will be my refuge to hear the music and all of the marvelous cast. :)
Laura Osnes was born to be a Disney Princess. She should be cast in any of the Disney Musicals right now (as Belle or Ariel or Anna), and even in Anastasia. Seriously I have no idea why they haven't picked her already to voice any new Disney princess movie.
*I could watch this a million times a day and it STILL wouldn’t be enough!* I get such chills and my heart soars; the vocalist and pianist pull at my heart strings oh, so beautifully :’)
Laura Osnes was born to be a Disney Princess, inside and out. She should be cast in any of the Disney Musicals right now (as Belle or Ariel or Anna), or be the next Anastasia when Christy Altomare leaves the show. Seriously I have no idea why they haven't picked her already to voice any new Disney princess movie.
fra4675 I agree wholeheartedly! Laura was practically born to play a Disney princess. The Disney company needs to get it in gear and beg for her to be their next princess. Whether in a film or on the Broadway stage.
Steph Piano- A combination of a dedicated work ethic, great genes and above all else. A gracious personality who never plays it cocky. Ms. Osnes is the total package who never comes across as arrogant in any way shape or form. She's someone you aspire to be like but also want to be friends with. :)
I'm going to be turning 30 soon. I know these songs like the back of my hand. Laura's even older then I am. And here she still adores all the princesses of fiction. No matter the age, we have the right to enjoy. :)
What is it about Laura Osnes, I wonder... that she's so... Woah... Can someone please try to explain the wondrous effect she has! My heart can't take it..

We can all agree that Laura is a real life princess
Samantha Castillo yes. We definitely can
Samantha Castillo In heart and soul, Ms. Osnes embodies every princess trait to the core. She is the personification of grace, kindness, laughter, and humble in nature. :)
Is what I came to say
Agreed 👍
well said.
Laura Osnes could play every single princess ever and I wouldn't be mad about it.
It is not just all disney princess songs. It is Broadway princess songs and Anastasia is a broadway musical as is the rest
OH HELLO OMG and yes.. agreed 3 yrs later
Nah...she too old. She's in her late 30s.
How does she sound like every Disney princess put together?! >.
MusicalMe281 Because she is a real life Disney Princess ♡
She’s rather a) an amazing soprano that channels the energy of both phantom of the opera and Cinderella or b) an actual QUEEN and should be treated as such.
I need a Disney movie with her as the Princess and Jeremy Jordan as the Prince, stat.
Megan Ripley I need them to recreate Hercules, Laura being Megara and Jeremy or Corey being Hercules

bonnie and clyde aren’t royal, but they are pretty cool
I mean, if you consider bonnie and clyde royalty, then there you have it lmao but I need laura as belle *^*
All of those transitions tho WOW
So cleverly done !
Ikr! Sooo seamlessly done!
Every year Laura hosts this I'm just reminded of what a perfect Disney princess she would be she was flawless as Cinderella on Broadway
Also, even though it's not disney, laura sings beautifully as anastasia. Glad they mixed that in there.
I did a happy cheer!
Ik I loved it sooo much
Anastasia is Disney now. They purchased the rights
Nothing can stop the Disney -war- media machine!
I was gonna say the same thing but this is a "Broadway Princess" medley lol Anastasia is a Broadway princess 🤷♀️
Cast her as Anastasia or Belle, RIGHT NOW.
Or Princess Anna in the new Frozen musical. DO IT.
DarthxErik cast her as anything shes literally perfect
Just don't cast her as Anastasia, I NEED MY CHILD CHRISTY ALTOMARE TO CONTINUE HER LEGACYYYYYYYYY
+RaGnome After Christy.
CAST HER AS *ALL* THE DISNEY PRINCESSES *RIGHT NOW.* ALL OF THEM.
Craving now for a full Laura Osnes Journey to the Past performance. 😁
She's in the new Anastasia musical coming in April yeah? Cause she's perfect!
Wait, no she isn't. I hear the gal who is pretty fantastic though
Yeah, I saw Anastasia last month. Christy is phenomenal as Anya/Anastasia
+That Disabled Girl I really want to!!!!!!! Hopefully, as it heads to Broadway in heading to New York. Fingers crossed!
I'd love to hear her sing the full song of Journey to the Past. :) Christy Altomare does an excellent job too!
Laura has that special quality in her voice that makes every song simply sparkle. I love listening to her sing!
She can have any audience eating out of her hand in one note. She is the manifestation of grace, beauty, graciousness, and class. I will follow her and her career anywhere.
DISNEY HIRE HER FOR THE NEXT PRINCESS
“What’s that word again?”
“Gate.”
“STREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET”
Why has Laura Osnes not played a Disney princess in a movie yet? She's so perfect at this, especially as Belle and Anna!

I would actually love to see her play Belle
YES PLEASE!!!!!! :)
SHE WOULD MAKE SUCH A GREAT BELLE!
I'm predicting a revival is right around the corner. She is one of my top choices.

Hey, It's Kayla YES!! Belle is one of Laura's dream roles and she would be so amazing!!
Lauras*
the way she bows and points at benjamin in the end is SO fairytale princess-like omg
Everything Laura does is perfect!!! I don't ever will understand how Disney hasn't casted her in a princess role yet. This is Freaking phenomenal!
Anyone know the email address to Disney headquarters? I can link this video in with it if anybody ever finds that information out along with me giving a novel length post why she is so perfect for it.
Disney just is not looking in the right places. We need to steer their attention over to Laura.
Silver54ful i think she will be a great princess in a hand drawn animation disney movie
i think you mean cast -there is no word casted
I'm so impressed by how much she sounds like a GENUINE princess
Laura Osnes is such a stunning Princess with bis, encore and repeats, I think she should be a Queen already.
Her face when she starts singing journey to the past is just the cutest thing I've ever seen
laura osnes is one of my new favorite braodway stars!!! At 1:14 when she says "ive got 20" it's the best way to deliver that line, utter perfection!!!
Oh my gosh she is an amazing Anya! I literally jumped when she started singing Journey to the Past! And she just is a living, breathing princess in general who just seems like such a sweet person.
The proof that Laura Osnes could play every single princess brilliantly 😍❤
i need a continuous loop of her singing every princes song ever
Every time she sings any song by Beauty and the beast I DIE. She’s the perfect Belle her voice fits SO PERFECTLY!!!!
"...sing 'em all and stay all night." -Judy Garland
I’m still here after 2 years and I’m still shocked. Laura is a real life Disney princess and I’m 1037393849% CONVINCED that she can pull off every role. She’s my inspiration♥️
It's amazing to see her transform into each character
I think that Laura should be the voice of a new Disney princess someday. Her voice is so sweet and magical. Please Disney, make a new fairytale musical and cast her as the heroine. It would be a match made in heaven.
So, basically, there's NO princess that she can't sing to glorious perfection. Glad we're all on the same page. :)
make her a princess pronto @disney
This is going on my "THis video will instantly fix a bad day" list
Laura should be every princess ever in everything
THIS IS WAY BEYOND PERFECT 😭😭😭😭😭

Thank you for posting comment. Christy seems to do a lovely job as Anya!
carryoncarryon My pleasure.
I can not wait to hear how Christy sounds on the Broadway Cast Recording of Anastasia. :)
Me neither! I can't wait for the Original Broadway Cast Recording of Anastasia to be released. :D
carryoncarryon Absolutely!
Since I won't be able to make it to NYC to catch it live (unless it is successful enough to create a North American National tour of it) the cast recording will be my refuge to hear the music and all of the marvelous cast. :)
I 100% agree! I saw Christy as Anya and Christy's performance is UNTOUCHABLE, even by Laura!
she is a literal angel
her voice is amazing
I love everything Mr. Rauhala produces. Still waiting on sheet music for these!!

I watch this literally once a week and cry every single time. Such a joyful, beautiful thing!!
Olivia Riddle I watch this everyday, like 3x haha
This is everything I needed to be happy.
Literal perfection in human form
Total Disneyland Princess vintage voice....amazing!
Laura is the living embodiment of a Disney princess
honestly the camera zooming in when she starts 'Journey to the Past' is me
She is amazing!
When Benjamin says "You have the next five minutes"... the medley literally did take 5 minutes! :O
love that girl singing, closing your eyes and dreaming.....
I don't know what to say here, just glad I found this wonderful video.
i would definitely buy an album with all these splendid songs separated, covered by laura osnes, jeremy jordan, derek klena and/or christy altomare

She is incredible, I can't even, she is beyond perfect
This was so perfect on so many levels
She's magic.
I love how they chose to add Home in - one of my favourite Alan Menken songs. 💕
This medley brought tears to my eyes

LAURA IS SUCH A BLESSING
How can someone be so perfect?

Excellent!! Not ashamed to say I'm in my twenties and know all of these songs
I'm going to be turning 30 soon. I know these songs like the back of my hand. Laura's even older then I am. And here she still adores all the princesses of fiction.
No matter the age, we have the right to enjoy. :)
That was fantastic! I love! how they arranged that, it was seamless how the songs flowed together

What a beautiful human being. Loved this.
THOSE TRANSITIONS!!!
Glad a Beauty and the Beast song that was not in the movies was in there.

I could listen to her forever she's so great aaaah
Effortless! The voices of a princess.
Speechless
