What happens if I say that my screen time is 20hrs & 15mins and it’s been pretty consistent…aside from the fact that I’m socially awkward & an introvert most of the time and I just love watching different things online😂
Everyone judges my screentime, but it’s only as high as it is because I like to turn on long TH-cam videos to listen to while I draw, do chores, take naps etc

I have never checked this and just found out the place where I could check it on my phone. My screen time for last seven days is 47 hours 😮 and I'm a bit concerned. I know I'm on TH-cam a lot but I didn't know I was on YT that much. Two and a half hours were on YT music, almost six hours on Netflix and over 33 hours on TH-cam 😱. Less than hour was for communicating with people online. I think I need to go outside and socialize more 😅
My TH-cam is similar to yours however I don’t have too much issue which that as I often put let’s plays and live stream vods on as background noise whist doing other things (cleaning, cooking, emails ect) therefore that number isn’t a good reflection of amount of time spend sedentary. I have Bluetooth headphones which mean I’m far more inclined to get up and do stuff (I vacuum under my bed during a 8hr overnight election livestream)

I also have (unmedicated and untreated) ADHD and I have to have something playing in the background even when I'm sleeping, and I was shocked and embarrassed when I just saw that mine is 75 hours last week. Of course I know it's not only because I use it as a background, most of the time I'm actively watching TH-cam because I haven't left my house in a really long time (again ADHD) and I can barely get out of bed or at least do the things that I love. Unfortunately in my small country, although it's in Europe, we don't have any ADHD meds, every pharmacist was looking at me weird when I asked them, they haven't heard of any, and all psychiatrist I've been to here don't even know that women can have ADHD, so I'm kinda doomed for now, but wish me luck I guess lol Anyways, I hope you're having a great day and sorry for the long comment 🍀

I feel his screen time is about 5 - 6 hours a day on weekedays and then boom, 10 hours each day on the weekends. It's easy to use 6 hours a day on a weekday. If you sleep for 7 hours, work for 8 hours , exercise for 1 hour, commute for 1 hour, groom yourself (bath, brush teeth, dress up) for 1 hour , eat for about 30 mins (which sometimes is done while watching TV shows), it's so easy to spend the remaining 5 hours online. Laundry, cleaning the house, grocery shopping etc can be handled under 5 hours over the weekend, maybe go out for about 3 hours as well : it's so easy to use the remaining time on your screen especially as a single person and additionally because most young people no longer watch TV but use steaming services which add to our screen time.
My screen time is insane but then my most used apps are my alarm clock(i use my timer for exercise, chores, painting, work) and my audio book apps. I always have a book going through the day. I'm always curious what my actual screentime is. Like how long do i actually look at my phone?
I decided to check mine. 7 hours and 21 minutes is my daily average right now. I went up *87%* from last week…that actually makes sense because I had actual stuff to do so I didn’t have time. Averaged 4 hours and 15 minutes last week, most of that was crammed into the evening when I was finally done.
My screen time would be 1hr a day if I carried a physical book with me, but I use the Kindle app because being on my phone at work is better than chilling with a physical book😂

Dang….just yesterday alone I was on my phone for 15 hours and 24 minutes lol. I average 13-16 hours a day. Sundays and Wednesdays tend to be the days I’m least on my phone cause of chores, church, and going out on dates with my fiancé.
You know everyone is very impressed with people who only have 40 minutes average but you all need to remember that these people are the same people that rarely answer your texts. I can tell you from personal experience that it’s better to have more screen time than less
