It’s super cool too because it’s a moment in time we literally never see, this is a brief period which seems to be between the clone wars movie and the first season. Jesse doesn’t have any paint at all on his armor.
I absolutely LOVED all the Count Dooku related episodes! Sure some people may be pissed that they retcon some good novels and comics, but each episode helped make his turn to the dark make more sense. And that Yaddle v Dooku fight was absolutely *AMAZING!*
i would also love to see Aayla Secura, Shaak Ti bc homegirl keeps coming back from the dead.. and also Kit Fisto bc he was interesting in the clone wars
In the second episode, Dooku mentions that Jedi don't expect to be attacked by people they trust. Which really makes Order 66 Hit harder. And also explains why some Jedi sensed it about to happen, the ones who trusted the clones the most died quicker.
*Dooku's shift from Jedi Master to the darkside was perfect with how things just caused him to make up his mind about which side he wanted to be on. 13:00 a detail you missed is as Dooku and Yaddle are walking away, Dooku walks in the shadows while Yaddle walks in the light, foreshadowing Dooku's turn to the Darkside, similar to Ep.3 when Anakin and Obi Wan say farewell to each other as friends for the last time before Obi Wan goes off to confront Grievous and Anakin Stands in the shadows while Obi Wan stands in the light
I also noticed dooku walking into a darkish hallway compared to yadel who was walking towards a well lit hallway. This could be another way of showing Dooku’s turn to the dark side
I feel in the next season they should explore more behind Dooku and the creation of grievous as well as behind the scenes of grievous at the Battle of Geonosis. They did amazing for this first season and hope they do even better the next!
3:29 the mondrils atop their heads also give them an extra sensory perception of sorts. This is why Togruta Jedi are always such great sensory types i.e: Jedi Sages and Jedi Shadows
Don't skip the animated series! I really like how they actually give you a story before you even get to the opening credits. I am amazed how much information that they packed into each episode! Short, sweet to the absolute point!
I never really thought that Sidious really bought into the Rule of Two, especially it's true intentions. The Rule of Two was meant to limit the number of Siths to prevent infighting to guarantee their victory. It also was meant where when the student finally defeats their master, it was meant to be in a fair fight to make sure that only the strong remain and the cycle would continue. However, Sidious himself violates the integrity and spirit of the rule by: 1) Whacking his master while he was vulnerable. (Either he offed him in his sleep or while he was drunk or something). 2) He took on or allowed multiple Sith apprentices after Maul (Dooku, Ventress, the Inquisitors) and made sure that none of them could ever surpass him. 3) Later on he would eventually try to (re?)establish the Rule of One. So in short, he's a true Sith in a way where he didn't really care about the rules and played by his own.
Anybody else notice yet that Yaddle's ship was a modified Mini-Rig from the vintage toyline? It was the PDT-8 (Personnel Deployment Transport). This and an X-Wing were the only vintage ships I had as a kid, and I'd know that profile anywhere.

I absolutely LOVED this series, the episodes were all good but each one left me wanting MORE! These leaving me excited for Visions S2 which I hope has more cannon stories like these this time around.
I feel like Yoda’s unique speech is due to how much older he is. His prime was during the High Republic, an era where Jedi acted more as Knights similar to the days of King Arthur, so it makes sense that yoda talks as Luke says “in riddles” as it’s a way of speaking lost to time.
I've seen the progression of of Yoda > Dooku > Jinn > Kenobi > Skywalker > Tano referred to as The Disaster Lineage. This seems apt to me. Of course, that makes Anakin and Luke Skywalker training siblings, and if you consider how Luke's first padawan (Ben Solo) turned out, I think Luke and Solo should be considered a branch of the Disaster Lineage Family Tree. Let's hope Grogu doesn't follow the 'family' tradition of either falling to the dark side or training someone who will.
