Love the trench!!!! It was sold out in my size 😢. I’ve decided to create my own version; already purchased the paint 🎨. Picking up a trench from the thrift next week. Currently, I have 3-4, including a beautiful navy Vintage Burberry with wool lining. I wear that baby in the coldest weather here in Chicago, and talk about warm!!!!! This information was so good. I tell my customers at my boutique, all the time. Just throw the saying, "True to Size" away, because every manufacturer makes clothing differently. All body types are so different. And who is going to be digging all down in their clothing to see what size they have on. Wear what makes you smile. After explaining that to them. Sale is complete 🤗. All your new pieces are gorgeous. You know you love something, when you start singing 😂😂.

I think the tags on clothes are the negative narratives we attach to the number or the sizing large, Xtra large, we make a story in our minds what people will say or think about the larger number. We as a woman have been systemically shamed for being too small too large too short or too tall. Inside the cultural and societal world of women, we are just as harsh. That is why self-love is big business. We are trying to love ourselves instead of just being in love with ourselves. ❤

Totally agree. I invest more money into versatile pieces that I am going to wear over and over again. You totally get your money worth. I just thought about the amount of time I’ve had the dresses I wore during a work trip and I had those dresses for at least 8 or 9 years. Good quality holds up!!!!

I was going thru my closets trying to downsize a bit a couple of days ago. I came across a black & white vertical striped dressy blouse that I forgot I had. I tried it on to make sure I should still keep it and thought to myself, "I could totally see C&C [that's you] wearing this." And now here I watch you say that black and white stripes are your thing! I knew it! 😁 I think that's why I follow you, some of the things you wear are so so similar to things I wear and like. Only difference is you seem to dress like that daily. I dress like that...let's just say, NOT on a daily basis. Nowadays, I often choose total comfort over "slaying". 😄 Btw, the trench looks great on you and I also loved the striped b&w dress. Of course.

I luv that coat! I’m just disappointed that people don’t get you. Wow….Chile…..the hate is too much for me. Everything vintage is not cheap…i think some of the young ones equate thrifting as cheap second hand items like Zara and H&M.SOP lol standard operating procedure!
