To be fair anyone thats ever had a place that had roach problems knows that shit stays with you. Not the roaches, you can get rid of those. But goddamn even pictures of them have me go into "tunnel vision kill" mode.
I second this. My family used to have em real bad. I mean they were everywhere. Now I tear up if I even see one. 😭 Nothing like relaxing and then looking up and there’s a roach on the ceiling about to fall on you. 😭😭
yeah, or living in a place where roaches will come inside or up from your drain whenever it floods outside from raining for a couple of days... And no matter how clean you keep everything, there will always be roaches outside and underground and they will keep coming back no matter how many you kill...😭
@@ashleybro6933 The things that worked for me was Boric Acid and Advion Roach gel, also use Ortho home defense for other stuff but it might also just be added protection. That and I keep my place cool and dry. No idea about the sink stuff though, I imagine theres gotta be something to pour down there that won't also mess with the pipe lining.
@@Yarzu555 Well, I've moved since I lived there but it was overseas and with the humidity and floor drains in each bathroom, it was really common. We did try spraying "baygon", their brand-name for Raid, whenever we suspected they'd be coming up, and when we did we would get a bunch of dead roaches on the bathroom floor...we counted 33 one time (some of them were small, but a lot were the regular size). I can still smell the yucky spray we used... Lol our pastor who was a national had some dogs with ticks once and he tried spraying it on them, but all their hair fell out instead 😅 I had such a weird childhood.
I'm laughing, but that's part of why I haven't touched the game since my sick break August last year.
Its an amazing game. Before I started building up my island and stuff I hunted down all the fish and bugs and stuff, so I had to time travel. Always had to kill so many roaches almost every time I went in my house.

I find something adorably tragic about: after so long, she never got out of that tutorial phase, because i still hear that generic music from the beginning.
Also she still has only 1 room.
It feels so weird that Korone is scared of bugs, I would've imagined her as a kid who collected beetles and stuff in the summer.

Encountering a cockroach is scary but losing sight of it as soon you have your repellent is the most horrifying thing in the world.

Pretty accurate scenario of what happened to me yesterday. The only difference is I'm not a cute doggo who managed to kill the two offending cockroaches. Oh and they were big, not small.
