- Shiny Pokémon don't just exist in the Pokémon video games you know. The Pokémon anime has quite a few appearances of shiny Pokémon as well. Today I am going to show you all of the Shiny Pokémon that have appeared in the Pokémon anime!

I like the fan theory that Giovanni's Persian is also shiny, but no one can tell because the shiny version is almost identical to the non-shiny.
Giovanni’s Persian is indeed shiny, if you go back and watch the clip of when Persian was first introduced in the anime, when team rocket is talking to giovanni, you can see the gem on its forehead clearly being red, indicating it being a shiny
Also the inside of its ears are pink
@@musicjunkie4248His Pokémon was In fact not a shiny, If you do the research you can clearly tell and there are multiple videos about It Proving It was never a shiny Pokémon.

His Persian is normal. Look inside its ears. It’s regular and the shiny version has pink inside the ear

There’s a shiny Donphan in an episode as well. I think it was in the Johto series. That’s where Ash’s phanpy I think also evolves.

Nope, the shiny Donphan is in the Hoenn series; It's a wild female that other Donphan are fighting over. Ash's Phanpy evolved in Battle Frontier in a fight against Team Rocket... wow, all of that came bubbling up to the surface from over fifteen years ago.
Turns out the pink butterfree was technically a shiny but it was more likely a beta shiny color
wish it was the actual shiny form of butterfree cause the current is a big disappointment
My headcanon is that Butterfree was from the island of pink berries where every pokemon there was pink

Actually Ash saw the shiny Hawlucha and shiny Phantump during his Kalos journey
the fact that shiny (regular) gengar looks so much better in the anime compared to the games should be a crime
Aren't Mewtwo Strikes Back(original) and Pokémon 2000(The Power of One) technically canon because we actually got to see that version of Mewtwo multiple times in the anime(Gary's gym battle with Giovanni and Jesse, James, and Meowth saw it fly out of the base in one episode and it appeared again in Journeys) and Ash mentioned seeing a Lugia in the Orange Islands while he was traveling in Johto(the episode when we see a baby Lugia for the first time)
Those and several other movies are canon, you are correct. For example:
In the Deoxys movie, Ash and company visit a city that's later revealed to be the hometown of Drew, one of May's rivals. The professor from the movie is also mentioned later.
Dawn buys a Lunar Wing in the Darkrai movie, and it's later seen in a DP episode.
The Genesect Army from movie 16 makes a flashback appearance in a BW episode.
And, perhaps most notably, in the Lucario movie, Ash's aura abilities were revealed, and they've been shown multiple times since then.

Most of the movies are canon until they decided to create a seperate movie universe for ash,hope this helps,some may also not be canon but I think at the time they were intended to be canon

Most people tend to write off anime movies based on shows as non-canon. While that’s true for some anime movies, yes many of the Pokémon movies are (especially the early ones).
Claire did actually catch the Druddigon in the episode when it decided it wanted to go with her. She didn't send it on its way. It can be seen with her facing off against Iris's Dragonite in a later episode.
Friendly reminder that the movies definitely are canon and their events, places and characters are mentioned and referenced multiple times in the regular episodes, the 10th anniversary special even had flashbacks to them and Bianca and Alto Mare returned in To Be A Master
Ain't it funny that my first shiny is a shiny Magikarp and I released it because it only learned splash I actually have no idea that it will evolve into a Gyarados back then 😂😂

The Golurk isn't dynamax, but just a "giant", like the totems from Sun and Moon, the alphas from Legends Arceus and the titans from Scarlet and Violet. A dynamaxed Golurk is much bigger than this giant Golurk.

The shiny Charjabug and Vikavolt are actually the same, as the Charjabug evolved off screen
Shiny Gangar in anime is more gray ish, the same color it's sprite is in scarlet and violet. But once used in battle it looks more or less exactly the same as it's purple regular form. Which sucks
Well regular Gengar is also more dark than in the games
Excuse me but Clair did catch the Shiny Druddigon because it chose her as it's Trainer and if you watched Iris Vs Clair at the Blackhorn City Gym than you would be seeing Iris's Dragonite battling against Clair's Shiny Druddigon!

I just re watched the Movie Pokémon: The Rise of Darkrai, and in a flashback there is a shiny Luxray
Don't forget the pink butterfree from first gen.
The pink Butterfree was not a shiny. It was just one of many alternately coloured pokemon shown throughout the series. Just like ash's gengar😊
Considering how many pokemon we seen in the anime i guess the shinies were pretty rare in anime too

You did kind of miss the episode of the Pokemon orange Island series about the pink Pokemon, Golden Sudowoodo(that was the Battle frontier), Shiny Voltorb, and the other Shiny Pokemon that the shiny Hunter has, Pink Butterfree
The Red Gyrados and the shiny Entei, Suicune, $ Raikou are ripped straight from the games

@@BrandonBobby-dv5pn Yes, it is just a normal Mew, probably the same that we see later in the movie. You can even see it being a bit pink under the blue psychic effect, its not the shiny version.
Its not difficult to distinguish, but I get it why you believe it is one, because other than the body color there's no difference between the two

Ash isn't doing a "gotta catch em all" he is just randomly going about it.. like there just seems to be all random who he catches or not.. like pidgeotto.. caterpie and a crabby.. like wtf.. add a muk on top of that again.. squirtle, charmander and bulbasaur closes to join him. But everything else is weirdly random.
Gary did a good job, he went for powerfull ones, like arcanine and nidoking. That's the good stuff.
Which is why journey ash is a beast. Gengar, dragonite, lucario. Dude finally decided to maximize his roster.
In one of the journey series, Elite four Lance sends out the Shiny Gyrados and it actually has the shiny animation!
Always like Ash's Noctowl, but hated how they made Noctowl bigger in later anime and games. Looks better when it was smaller and agile

I wish they didn't center the show around ash, they could have made a 2 year lap and slowly show us how ash team change, like giving a flashback on how pikachu choose to stay and defend his friends as they leader and ash took the pichu that was being bullied with him, that would be a good method to explain why pikachu is aways low level at the start of any other region

You forgot the shiny halwlucha in X&Y it was owned by a movie producer, if I remember correctly. But all in all, a great video keep it up.

Only Ash is able to win against a Magnemite using a Bulbasaur after losing against with a Cyndaquil (and a Pikachu, which is okay if has only electric and normal moves)
